  • This is not bad at all. My quote is £24.75 which makes it good value. I think my local homes place is around £40 a month.
However my local non-holmes place gym is only £20 a month although you have to sign up to a 2 year contract! I don't mind this as I went rgularly enough to make this worth it, but who knows what will happen in 2 years time

Might have been worth me doing, but they don't have a single club between them in the whole of Lancashire.

    Pathetic really :I

  • I had a look through quico and on their site you can get a £100 boots voucher with a 12 month premium, maybe you can combine the two? but I doubt it.

I don't think you can. if you go through Quidco the boots voucher is on the main page. if you go through the link I have posted the gym offer replaces it.
It's worth it even more thanks to the poster who flagged up the £110 Quidco cashback

  • If you look at the Holmes Place offer it says you have to take a 12 month contract and pay a £25 activation fee, where does it say you can cancel at any time?

Well, Ive been looking for a catch and can't find one. Anybody else? Otherwise looks a tempting offer, although have to say going for a long walk is equally as good, completely free, and more interesting!.

The catch (sort of) is that most health insurance companies offer discounts for customers that are regular Gym goers (as of course, they are healthier and less likely to claim!).

This just works the other way around. Instead of them giving you the discount on the insurance, they give you the discount off the gym membership.

Your 'contract' is with Pruhealth not the gym.
You can cancel you policy at anytime.
And you don't pay any activation fees neither.

Says on the T&C's that the £25 admin fee will be waived as long as the membership is continued after the 6 months!

Does this mean I will have to pay £25 for an extra month and then cancel after that?
