Hello, I have 3 CCards with MBNA (branded to other companies) and my partner has 1. Do I send 4 letters with £1 cheques by recorded delivery, or do we combine into 1 letter for the purpose of the cca request

I would suspect one per account.
It is a request per account not per company unless I am corrected.

I suspect oneday77 is correct. Unless the main address is the same for all cards, whereby you might get away with seperating the accounts but sending them via one recorded delivery... However, safest option is likely to treat them all individually.

its the same address on the back of the statements I receive against each of the cards

Hi, 3 of the 4 have turned up, but rather than get too confused I propose to deal with these 1 at a time - OK 1st reply

In partners name - date on signed agreement is 11th may 2007. am i right thinking this enforcability thing only applies to accounts opened prior to april 07 in which case I wont waste any more of anyones time on this one?

yes just found in another page on ehre the cur off was april 2007, so Bad luck for me on that one

OK, on to number 2, this was taken out early 2006. The agreement they have sent me is printed on half a4 page and is of appalling quality, but I have scanned as best as I could and removed personal data. Welcome your expert eyes!

Rhetorical question, OHNOANOTHERDFW click on your link, can you read the text?

You need to do a much better scan of the document.
If you can't manage to scan it any better, can you ask a friend who knows more about PCs to do a higher resolution image and neatly tidy it up.

thanks dark, I have scanned in paint on to my PC, its not brilliant but its better than the one that you get if you open the weblink.

anyone have nay tips on how to do better resolution?

If your on windows vista/7, goto startmenu and type in scan.
Click on Windows Fax and Scan,
Click New Scan
Set the DPI to something like 600.

For windows XP use this guide - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/getstarted/scanning.mspx

I noticed your page was blurry too, this indicates it was moving around during the scan, try to avoid letting it move (holding with your hand is a bad idea, we all shake) Also do a preview before a big scan and only scan the area containing texts (quicker and smaller file is made)

Now, when you get to save the image, save it as either a BMP or PNG. This will retain the image quality at cost of a bigger file size.

Now upload this image on a photosharing website, and ensure any advanced options to auto size your image are disabled.
