  • There's so many of us!!!

I've got all the big stuff booked. Nice things like accessories (jewellery etc), invites, favour boxes (both to be made) to think about in the new year. :) The venue, registrar, DJ, photographer, cake person, florist, hair stylist and make up artist are all booked, and mine and BMs dresses are ordered, so chilling now till after new year. :) One thing I do need to sort in Jan is our ceremony choices; words and music. Not sure where to start with that.

My nightmare is loads of people RSVPing no and the place being half empty lol.

My budget has been 'stretched' in just about every area. Saving several hundred by making the invites and favour boxes so pleased with that. :)
  • Sh*t......6 months is that all, I was ok till you told me that lol

Im just trying to get some time off work at the end of Feb because I want to fly out to Spain to tie up some loose ends in Gib, prob is iv only got 3.5 days hols left and I want to go for 5 days so iv got to ask my manager for 1.5 days unpaid. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

    I'v got the venue booked for the reception when we get back, just need to sort out buffet menus and things for that. My mate's doing the DJing and I need to make sure hes got it in his diary;

Eeeek then next 6 months will go so quickly wont it.

    Cant wait now xxx

I have a new worry - I am getting my teeth done and i'm worried they won't be finished in time.

What going on with us Juners? We are all very quiet!! I have to say i haven't been thinking about the wedding much - more about the honeymoon and the conversation me and oh had last week about me coming off the pill when we get back - so i am now obsessed with babies lol

  • Hi svjenni!
I was thinking the same about it being quiet. I must admit, we have slowed up on the wedding with christmas approaching but I am kind of missing it! Is that crazy??
We are more than likely not going to have a honeymoon as we will have a 4yr old DD and not enough in our budget, but I can dream!
Awww yay will you be TTC after the wedding then? We have been trying for 3 yrs now so it's been a breath of fresh air to have something new to focus on with the wedding hehe. Hope all your dreams come true quickly!

  • Why is your dress wrong Buzby and sorry to be nosey but why are you vetting your friends speech, I would never dream of vetting my BM's or my OH's bestman's speech.

    Hi Herbiecat

The top of the dress is not straight its slants down so much i'm hanging out.
The reason for vetting the speech is oh idea as he doesnt want it to deliberately be making people cry, its just meant to be a reading rather than a speech. I dont want to see it but oh does

  • Thats not good, you dont want to be hanging out of your dress lol! I hope you manage to get it sorted. Will you have to buy a new one or can it be altered?
  • I have spoken to Linda on here and she has confirmed that no seamstress is going to be able to fix it so its going to have a be another one :-(
