Tupperware...

Options
I'm trying to organise my kitchen, atm i just have cheap plastic boxes from the £ shop. I found tupperware email address and they're going to send me a catalogue now is it worth investing in some as my mum and MIL have some which have been going strong for years or stick to the cheap stuff....
Plus i really wanna have a tupperware party but all my friends laughed at me....
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

I didn't think they did Tupperware parties any more. I have cupboards full of freebies I got from having them though in the past.

I would definitely recommended Tupperware rather than the cheap boxes from the £1 shop. Over time, you will find they pay for themselves as they are much better quality and much more durable.

I requested a catalogue a few months back. They are really expensive but if you take into acount how long they last its is value.

Sainsburys do ADDIS which my mum said is a good make. I bought some 12 months ago for freezing baby food and they are still going strong. I shove them in the dishwasher and the miccowave and they are fine. reasonable priced too

Would agree, Tupperware is brilliant. I always remember my mom had a wonderful box with a colander in it when I was a kid (thirty odd years ago). It is offically for cooking rice & steaming fish (great for camping) It is still going strong now.

I acquired one about 15 years ago just after I got married and mine is still perfect. My friend use to do the parties but I think they have stopped them. Anyone got the web site address. Definitely worth the money. About the only stuff that actually seals and does not leak.

There's loads of tupperware on ebay, new and used. The prices are much cheaper than I remember paying when I was in the habit of buying it some 20 years ago. Most of mine is still going strong.

If you want to invest in good quality effective containers, then I cannot recommend the "Lock & Lock" range highly enough.

They can be purchased from QVC or Lakeland.

They really keep food fresh and they stack very neatly into each other. My kitchen is organised completely with it! I love it and so do a lot of other people. Just read the Shopping forums to get recommendations

The Tupperware lettuce bowl keeps your lettuce fresh for weeks. I also recommend the cheese dish.
