I had an email from whattodowiththekids.co.uk yesterday saying-

You recently entered a competition to win a Family Ticket to Holiday on Ice –Mystery at The Brighton Center for the 7.30pm show on Friday 30th January.
Can you reply to let me know if you can still make the show and I will send the tickets across to you.
I look forward to hearing from you.

i was on the computer till 8 pm the night before and turned it on again about 7 am the next day so the email came between then. i replyed straight away yesterday morning and posted here that i won. now i wake up and get this email

how can i have won a comp , then suddenly the tickets have gone ? that does not seem fair ?. my kids were so excited to be coming up and staying in a b+b. very disapointed with this.

Not sure whats happened to your post its gone funny, maybe try to edit it if you can. Did they give you a time scale to reply by?? I would see if you can a phone number and speak to someone. They cant give you a prize then take it away.0

sorry, can't read your post, could you find a phone num. for them & ask ? that's unfair , surely they shouldn't do that please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.

I think thats very unfair of them. I would not leave it at that. I would insist that they let you go. Very unprofessional on their part. A win is a win. And they cannot just give your prize away like that, when you so obviously want to go!!0

Well now i have read the emails properly, It does not state you have to reply by a certain time. Please call them up and push this further they cant do this. Its very bad of them to say you have won then take the prize away. Sorry you have had all this trouble but please call and hope you get better soon.0

Have never had any problems with WTDWTK. Daniel and Louise seem to be very genuine people.
I can only suggest that they want to make sure that the winner of the tickets will definately turn up to the event and have reallocated them.
It does seem unfair that you've had such a short time span to reply. I'd wait for Daniels reply to your email - I'm sure they'll sort something out for you.0 -
Theres no phone numbers on the site. i looked at the other comps and theres no terms and con is there ??. i thought maybe they would say its coz im not a paid up member , but i cant see anything that says you have to be to win the prizes.0

I seem to remember this sort of thing happening to someone else. She eventually contacted the Institute of Sales Promotion after getting no joy from the company. The Company sent her tickets to another, but equally good event.0 -
