Hi, do you happen to know if that's a 1080, please? Thanks
  • as far as i can see on the sony site, it has 1080i and 720p, not 1080p
in which case, it is not true 1080HD but HD ready :)
    comping sporadically since 14.07.07
    latest prize: PS4

Be careful, because it has different specifications in different countries, but what rustynash says appears to be correct for the UK:

Just looked on the richer sounds site and it says it is not ready to receive 1080p. I dont know myself what difference that makes but I am glad you have raised it so I can find out.

Exellent TV and unbeatable price. Add £29 for 5 year warranty too.

On a 32" screen, the different between full HD and HD ready will be unnoticeable to the human eye anyway.

John Lewis should price-match this and get a free 5 year guarantee.

Wonder if someone could help me here.......

I wanna put this TV in the spare bedroom. But there is no aerial port and dont really want to start drilling things etc just yet.

Are there any good aerials out there that will give me a good picture? I have a portable in there at the moment and the aerial I use for that gives a really s*it picture esp for ITV
  • how weird I was just looking at that sony and the samsung and trying to decide between

    samsung: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5293678/Trail/searchtext%3ESAMSUNG+32.htm

the contrast ratio is about the only difference - the samsung has 10000:1 the sony has 30000:1
