The ones that I know about off hand are cheap travel on National Express (but you have to pay initially for this and renew every year) and Working Tax Credits for over 50's but conditions apply to this.

At the moment I have a company car, so don't use coaches and don't you have to have young children at home and be on a low income for working tax credit, my two are adults now.

Working Tax Credits over 50 element is:-

    (From Adviceguide, Citizens Advice website

If you are 50 or over, you work 16 hours or more a week and you started work within the last three months, you can get Working Tax Credit if you were getting certain benefits for at least six months before you started work

Just look 'your age & a bit' & with a little 'Tongue in cheek exageration' you could probably qualify for 'Pensioner Specials' @ pubs & restaurants E.G. An excellent fish restaurant locally charges some £6.75 for normal helping,
but charge the Pensioner ( without any qualification ) the same for fish, chips peas, tea & bread & butter AND a sweet of the day. They seem to be more than happy with some fairly obvious abuse of the system, however, in fairness the helpings are smaller BUT the restaurant is always teeming with customers. Really depends on your moral stance!!!!

Pensioners Special, you cheeky git, I don't look like an old granny yet, I look so young I'd have to have the children's menu.
I emailed a couple of photos to my daughter the other day from when I was about 15 and now and I don't look much different.
