Had a pack of Lidl's frozen prawns yesterday, they were really nice with plenty of taste, unlike a lot of frozen prawns.

The curry kits from Lidl with the ginger, garlic etc. in are brilliant (I think we've tried the thai one) They cost 97p and all you do is whizz up the contents in the food processor and you have a really authentic curry paste, with no waste.

just come back from lidl and was very pleasantly surprised ( usually full of street drinkers taking advantage of the cheap cider!)

However, some branded stuff we got should be reported
    9 penguin biscuits - 59p
kp dry roasted peanuts 300 gram 59p
    anchor butter - 76
    24 bags walkers crisp 1.79
8 cans carlberg export for 4.89 - bargain
Also I rate thier lemon ice tea- obv everyone else does too in this weather, we got the last 2- bargain at 79p for 2litres.
garden flares- 3 for 1.49 ( usually a quid each everywhere else)
got 7 bags full for £25

Havent tried much else yet, just got in lol, but very impressed with the pricing, and that thier salad ( baby mixed leaves ) was UK grown!!! :T

All fruit & veg looking good , and at half price. thats the one in E3
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

jus been converted to trying these shops. have a few aldi stores and a lidl store near where i live. after looking at the recommendations i went out and bought a couple bits and pieces.
    ALDI: do buy:
-ladies sensitive shave gel (99p and leaves my legs and other bits soft and silky smooth!!)

    LIDL: do buy:
-iseree cleansing facial wipes (the sensitive and dry skin ones are the best ever.they leave my face soft and smooth but still cleansed and refreshed.also soooo cheap at 79p)

im also looking for a shampoo made by Aldi. its called coconut and keratin and its for dry and damaged hair. iv tried two aldi stores near where i live and i cant find it!!if any one can find it will they please let me no asap?!?

have now decided tht aldi is the better of the two stores. have bought loads of bits from there. best buys include:
    -siana sensitive handwash
    -washing up liquid
    -biscuits
    -extracts shower cream (purple bottle)
    -dried pasta
    -tinned plum tomatoes
    -bacon
    -parmesan cheese

am trying more and more stuff as i go along. just one ? tho. how do u open the bottles of wine tht dont hav a cork in them??????

lidl - i love the rye bread 49p and the vitmain c fizzy tablets 89p for 20 (tangerine flavour -yum) is the cheapest i've seen, plus they don't have aspartarme in, unlike some other cheaper brands.
