Talking of 25 Beautiful Homes I actually know someone who's apartment was in that a couple of years ago ! Not exactly shabby chic but gorgeous. I have of course kept that issue !

Well, I have just been out to buy the March edition of 25 beautiful homes, don't know whether to read it now, or wait until later this evening when I am having my Horlicks:D

Quick Question.......those of you who have letters (pop for example) spelling out words on walls - what have you stuck them on with.
I had my HOME letters on my mantelpiece deciding if I liked them there and ds3 ran past and knocked 1 off (clean break with a bit of filler you won't see join!!!) so want them out of the way - wall seems best bet!!!!
The joys of having boys.....gets in the way of my dream home!!!!

  • VP your scrap book is gorgeous! I was trying to start something similar, well more of a mood board really lol, but Im really struggling to find pictures. All my ideas are pics online. How on earth did you get so many lovely pictures to cut out?

EMG, you said: "QS have got a green enamelled range that includes a jug like that." but what or where is QS?

emg forget that, Ive just googled and found QS stores, the nearest one to us is 2 1/4 hours away. :( Shame too, they seem cheap. On their page it shows lovely glass canisters with ceramic lids for only £1 each!!! Thanks anyway.

My Singer still works too and has all the original bits and instruction book which is dated 1925. They really looked after stuff in those days. I'd be hard pushed to find most of my household manuals. :o

I have all my manuals in a folder together.. most easy when you sell/give away something!!
