The Virgin flight only fare is showing as £536x2 = £1072 for 14th march return on 21st.

If you are not a member of their flying club, join online and purchase 4000 miles..cost £75 and use 2000 for each of you and search for miles plus money fare which is £296.20 x2 = £592.40 plus the £75 = £667.40 for the two flights saving just over £400.

A week in Circus Circus would cost you about $40 for sun to thur and About $90 for fri and sat if booked direct with hotel with bargains found on Fatwallet.com or Lasvegastalk.com or various other sites mentioned in this thread. Prob best left till 2 to three months before you go unless you find a good deal before that. You can always change/cancel if booked direct with hotel.

You would be looking at maybe $400 for the week..about £200 plus the flight which is under half that which you would pay virgin holidays.

I have just booked for my 6th trip and would never do a package.

I know you said you would rather be centre strip, the same thing applies keep looking on sites for bargains and expect to pay around

$170 a night for Bellagio

$100 a night for Paris

$60 a niight for Ballys/ Harrahs/Flamingo

These are just a guide and are sun/thur prices expect to pay a lot more on a fri and sat.

And every time I hear that someone booked with Virgin Holidays or I see someone with a VH tag on their cases, I die a bit inside thinking how much over the odds they will have paid, probably for a lower-tier hotel, to boot.

Also, I never knew you could join Flying Club, buy miles and get a miles + money fare straight away without having flown on your flying club account before. That's a GREAT tip.

You can join virgin flying club, buy the miles, and book flight all online

If you are definitely wanting to go I would book the flight now at the price I have told you about with Virgin using the miles especially if you want to fly direct.Other flight prices may come down in price but rarely do they go much lower than £300 except with my travel from manchester (but i dont think they fly on a friday)

The hotel is a different prospect and i would leave that till much closer to the time of travel.

I will be looking as well because you want to go a week before me.

Guys, got to diagree here. I'm a frequent virgin and constantly save cash.

For example, I've just booked Orlando for next year and the total holiday cost is 4000 pounds. Now, as a frequent virgin you get 10% off so the cost to me is about 3600. The flights I have are premium economy return and I have 14 nights accomodation in two hotels, one 5 star, one 4 star. If someone can do this same holiday for cheaper I would be very surprised.

This is not to say that some holidays aren't expensive at VH but there is a deal to be done.
