:T :T I have a floor!!! :T :T I have a desk!!!! :T :T I have lots of space and can walk from office to livingroom without negotiating an obstacle course!!!:T :T :T :T
Erm, can you tell I'm pleased???;)
I have been VERY busy today, even though I didn't stick to my original list, nor Moggins list I'm pleased with my achievements.
I have recycled a mound of paperwork and filled loads.
I've reorganised my cupboards in the 'office' so files I currently use are closer to hand.
I stopped sniggering at Niki needing storage for her collection of notebooks/pads as I found a mountain of my own:o
Surfaces of office are dusted & cleaned & floor is vaccumed.
I have to say it's so pleasing - I'm well chuffed ... and I think the PC is too as it's working better :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: It was probably suffocating previously
The bonus of this is the remaining part of my coursework will be much easier to do now that I can access the net more comfortably - and I've lost yet another excuse re listing things to sell on ebay.
Time to crack on with tea now,
Thanks for all the motivation and inspiration everyone!
Kaz x

Well I started the week OK and great plans to keep going. Hasn't quite worked out and as there is only me can't find anyone else to blame :embarasse
I was away for the day yesterday, but had great plans for catching up today. However I had to go into town this morning and then let the day get away from me IYKWIM.
I do now have a ring binder for household book and some document wallets to go in it plus a filing set in WH Smith sale. A label maker from Lidl and treated myself to some coat hangers from J Lewis with a non-slip coating. Now I just need to do something with them!
Trouble is I'm also out for most of day tomorrow as well. Think I might have to make another fresh start on Monday. Plus, never mind 'paper filing' I need to do something about the stuff that's saved on my 'puter. That really does need sorting out :eek:0 -
The filing cabinet is rehomed :j It took me over 2 hours (and the bag of paper for recycling is still sitting next to the desk
) but I managed to sort out under the stairs and get the filing cabinet under there
The contents are now
- Top Drawer:
- Greeting cards (female birthday, unisex birthday, sympathy, thanks, blank)
- Gift bags (non christmas)
- Craft paper & card
- Blank paper - smartprice
- Bottom Drawer
- Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners etc all sorted out and put in boxes or jars within a bigger box
- Envelopes
- Stickers including hole reinforcers
- Lined pads / graph pad / notebooks / exercise books
- Hardback notebooks x 2 & Pukka pad
- Good quality blank paper (for gifts or Official Letters)
) but if you look in the understairs cupboard you can see the results of my hard work
Still to do though are the instruction manuals and some re-juggling of the 2 accordian files I've already filled which I'll do when I've been to Asda tomorrow and got another accordian file:D
Not managed anything else though since lunchtimeWill get stuck in again tomorrow, and if not, I will on Monday
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Top Drawer:

Gunna sort out my CD collection now, time to bannish those embarrassing golden oldies to the bin!
Why not put them on eBay, make some money off them at least and let someone enjoy the golden oldies
Everyones been doing so well, just had dinner, first time I have made my own beef/steak stew and it was fantastic. The meat was so fab it fell apart when I put my fork in it  I love my slow cooker. Updated my list still have quite a bit left to doshouldn't have gone to Tescos!
One day I might be more organised...........

It wasn't easy, and I haven't anywhere near finished, but I did get a fair amount done in the main bedroom today!
I removed all the boys' stuff and put it in the garage on its way to a bin/boot fair/charity shop, working on the theory that if they haven't wanted anything from there in the past year, then they don't need to keep it.;)
One bin bag of rubbish, and one for recycling removed.
Pile of stuff destined for ebay sorted and stacked.
Bed clothes washed.
Clothes sorted, and some thrown away. I still don't have anywhere to put them, but they are neatly folded on the floor!
This doesn't sound much, but I haven't been able to face even starting until today, so thank you very much everyone! I tackled it in 15 minute spells, putting on the cooker timer to keep me going. (And I bribed myself with a trip downtown if I stuck to it:D )
I'm going to use any further hotspot times to do this until I have it in a fit state to redecorate, when I shall insist on having the fitted wardrobes promised when we moved in. Twenty years ago.:rotfl:
hazzie Well done on finding carpet! I haven't got that far. How about taking the CD's to an oxfam shop? Our local one does a roaring trade in vinyl records and CD's.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

DS1 worked in the Oxfam shop this term, and he tells me that it's the students who are the best customers!
I suppose it's more MSE if you sell them yourself! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Cross posted... thank you for the wardrobe tip, but I'm going to make DH put in that wardrobe I was promised
Thank you as well for the encouragement. I'm very good at finding almost anything else to do instead of housework, so it's much appreciated! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Oh My Goodness. Just got in and DH has cleaned the toilet. Been going on at him for years that he doesn't have to wait until it's a 2 hour job and he should do a little and often. Have you guys been talking to him. That's just what he's done.
Wonders will never cease.
I'm going to sort out main bedroom - as on list. Not going to change bedding as I did that on wednesday.
Then its a hotspot/paperwork combo for me
