Ooops, sorry Moggins my 'inner brat' is getting the better of me - I really shouldn't let her stay up past her bed time - and she really shouldn't be online at this time. I can't think what prompted her to log onto MSE
Bad Kaz, bad bad Kaz
I promise to be back onboard like a good girl tomorrow - after a teenie spending spree in Ikea
Love and hugs to you all - see ya in the morning,

PS love your avatar lil_me, it's pulling the same face as my 'inner brat' is now I've told her it's bedtime, lol.

Thanks Kaz, you made me laugh so much I fell off the chair as wasn't sat properly, that'll teach me. Inner brats have to come out occasionally as if we didn't laugh we'd cry :rotfl:
Avatar is actually called 'I said NO!!' My DP says it's me and sure the kids would agree, decided after being here a while I needed an Avatar!
IKEA - I've banned myself from there too, last tme I went I limited myself to buying a few of the 60p storage boxesMissing IKEA

I think I will have to join this thread as well as all the others I read.
I hate housework but love to see the result! As I live in a big house in the country which everyone wants to come and stay in, I am constantly running round like an idiot a few hours before people arrive. Sometimes feels like we are running a B&B...unpaid:D
I leave the house at 7am, on my feet most of day at work and get home at 7ish at least 3 nights a week. Also trying to keep an eye on my elderly Mum who lives 20 miles away.
I need a big kick up the butt to stop me just collapsing in front of the TV every night as I'm bushed.
Do I get special dispensation as I broke my toe on Thursday night? Still went to work yesterday....didn't get much sympathy and wished I hadn't bothered as toe is now purple.
I suppose I could do paperwork sorting all day. Even better...bought a log maker off Ebay (from another link on MSE) so could shred all my paper and make logs.
Could someone tell me what the "shiny sink" thing is?0 -
Thanks for the list Moggins. I am sure if I stay away from laptop I might even achieve these tasks.
I was going to attempt to do the tasks I hadn't managed to do since Wed, but then thought better of it. It will take me all day to do the washing before going to bed.
Will start afresh next week. At least my sink is still shiny.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I'm just loving this thread. My house has never looked so good. It's the kick up the rear I needed. Great idea Moggins having the list in a different colour, it was so easy to find. One thing I seem to have missed though is 'dailies' what are they?0

morning all, had good intentions but not started well - so back on track (once finsihed here of course!
) off to town this morning with dd1, library and cafe for treat and to get a few jobs done - visit farmers market and return some things to next. Then home to attack list - will put bedding on from yesterday. DH will do dishwasher and as he is home today will have half hour paperwork in day and will get soa finished and posted (hooray) so anyone on the dfw board later today - would appreciate any tips - you will have lots i'm sure when you see my shopping money spent and number of trips to supermarket a month
oh well off to get dressed to shoes ( this also benefits our house in eve - have wooden floor and was always cold but keeping shoes on am much warmer:rotfl: )
happy flying0
