Anyone know where to send the application form to? It doesn't say anywhere on it or on the website. The website gives their Principal Address as 374 High St, West Brom but is that the right place to send it?0

Yip thats the head office. send there is fine. B70 8LR
Best to post asap with minimum initial investment as they say that they wont honour applications that are in the post should they make the account not available to new account openings. ( obviously they would honour applications that they have already received.)0 -
Yes, but if they do withdraw it wont that mean that any further investment will not be accepted?, even if youve opened an account (as per NR)?0
-
Once opened, you can add at any time to this account. http://www.westbrom.co.uk/westbrom/download.savingsapppack.pdf?product=34840
-
yes but if you look at no 5 says "can be withdrawn at any time", i dont think you will be allowed to put more money in after its withdrawn, can anyone confirm this?0
-
If you aren't allowed to add to it once the account has been withdrawn they normally say so. If there's nothing in the T&C then it won't apply. That normally applies to fixed rate term accounts.0

Once its withdrawn to new account openings, existing accounts can be added to as normal and withdrawals made as per terms and conditions.
Anybody that completes application online and prints off to post will get an email stating that should the account be withdrawn to new account openings, new applications that are in the post wont be honoured.
Best to send new application with a nominal amount and dont move remaining funds to current account until u have confirmation of account opening. ( unless your current acount pays high interest.;) )0 -

Entry 25 Feb was started then changed to 22 Feb
22 Feb account was made up with interest and closed. ( cheque dated 22nd February so interest stopped being paid on 21st February )
Covering letter dated 25th February, envelope postmarked 26th February, Posted second class.
Received today so Westbromwich BS will retain interest on the money till at least next monday, amount involved is irrelevant, its the principal. :mad:0
