I AM SOOOO COLD. i have the heating on really high (good job HE is working) just cant get a heat and had so much to do in the house today but dont want to move. thinking bout putting the oven on just to get more heat lol. i had a major meltdown yesterday. we needed a new car so he could get to work as he has been moved to work further away so i looked round and found one and he went an checked it all out and came home with it yesterday afternoon. i dont understand why but i cant cope with new stuff i get anxious and work myself up looking for things wrong with it. anyway he has been looking forward to getting a new reliable car for about two years and i feel real bad today now cause i took all the joy out of it for him . he was so very patient with me too. what the hell is my problem?:rotfl:"that grady! won't sit next to a black child in church! but eats eggs, shoot right out a chickens !!!!!!" from fried green tomatoes:rotfl::smileyheaMSE is where my friends live :smileyhea0

The state you are in affects your thoughts so it is virtually impossible to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you are in the dark depths of depression.
The idea of reading say a romantic novel is a good one as the story affects your state and releases new and different resources for you to see a sollution.Who I am is not important. What I do is.0 -
I have many. many hobbies but none of them are compatible with my 2 young toddlers.
I do agree that going out helps. i've sometimes wondered about getting a dog but i think it would be another pressure on me now.
Has anyone come across the idea of setting up a Grab Jar?

I might give it a go"Finish each day And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

And when the darkness lifts a little bit - which it will - think about doing some voluntary work even if its only an hour a week or something - helping others also creates that feeling of being useful to the world - which you would be
Just seen above re dog. If you cant have one now, how about finding out if you can do an hours dog walking at a local rescue or indeed whether elderly people in the area need someone to walk their dog up the road and back for them? You should have a local volunteers contact - ask the Citzens advice bureau for their phone number. Good luck0 -

when my kids were wee i had a bit of a breakdown and looking back now i dont know how i managed, we lived out in the sticks and had no car andonly two corner shops but i did have a library near me and there were walkways so we loaded the buggy with books and walked to feed the ponies in the field. why dont you get the kids into stories fire up their magination. my kids used to add on little bits to the stories i read them and started making stories of their own. if they had good ideas i wrote them down, my favourite is one my daughter inspired about charbom the dragon and his rumbly tum. get them to draw pics too and who knows you and the kids could get published:rotfl:"that grady! won't sit next to a black child in church! but eats eggs, shoot right out a chickens !!!!!!" from fried green tomatoes:rotfl::smileyheaMSE is where my friends live :smileyhea0
