Surely the Competition Commission in this country will have more of a say in it than Europe? After all, they won't want one phone provider with 37% of the network.

That's been the case before. In fact way past 37%.

O2s deal is about done anyway isn't it?

Yes T-Mobile are offering existing customers who are due for upgrade the I-Phone ( Both models ) 3G 8gb & the 3GS 16Gb versions - these are on tailored price plans starting at £30pm with some cost towards the phone or from £35pm if you want the 3G 8Gb version free or from £45pm if you want the 3GS 16Gb version free. Yes they have teamed up with a third part company called Chitter Chatter ( Similar company to the likes of Carphone Warehouse & Phones 4 U ) However to get this offer you must speak to the cancellation department, calling 150 and listening to the options. So im sorry " Jamespir " but you are the one who's talking rubbish.

I was offered the above yesterday from T-Mobile...

t_mob_insider2 - Are all the above offers for 24 month contracts? Or do you know of any 18 month contracts that are available?

I've been a customer for 15 consecutive years and they will not offer me any discount on the above iphones or iphone price plans and these price plans don't even compare with O2's.

I can't see why people would opt for the above when they can go to another network and get a better deal?

    Any answers anyone?

I've got an iphone coming tomorrow, I got 700 mins and unlimited texts and wifi for £34.26 same price contract that O2 and Orange are doing but with more minutes and texts. 18 month contract had to pay £178 towards the phone but £6.99 delivery so works out about £185.
Now I'm wondering if they're making up the contracts as they go along after reading someone got more minutes ?

Is that a 24 month contract you've got to get the phone for that price?

Yes, there is one tariff on 24 months with I think, 1000mins and the phone is free but I only use about 200mins per month so wasn´t worth it.

There are 18 month contracts but I can´t remember what they are.
