I think this might be a concern for many people. Certainly me... I have about 5 stone to lose and worry I'll be a saggy mess. Any thoughts?

Maz.....I am obsessed with the scales so who am I to preach.....at least I do go down now and not up and down like I did before...

Gilzor, I was dizzy in the first two weeks...like has been said I put it down to dehydration, plus I think it was my body getting used to the total lack of food. I almost felt like pure oxygen was flowing round my body. I got a headache and took a paracetamol and could feel it going through my blood.

Have no idea about the saggy skin...I would imagine that it would be an issue but maybe if you did toning exercises at the same time it would help.

Unfortunately after having a couple of big babies, my stomach looks like Kerry Katona's does at the minute...After the weight loss and the debt busting I am going to have a tummy tuck...

  • breachgti i think with this sort of diet you'd need to exercise and tone as well. I'm starting that this week.

  • Apart from the poss having the saggy skin think everyone should exercise when on this diet as when you start eating normal food again exercise is great for motivation to keep the weight off!

definitely breach... the hard part is knowing when you can safely exercise if you haven't already been doing anything.... as a lot of people are starting from zero activity... and you can't manage to exercise much if at all in the first week or so...

i already was doing some and i skipped a week off runclub when i started cause i wasn't able, but once into week 2 i was able to run again and found it quite good... you just have to manage your meals so you have the fuel for your activity, as technically you have no spare fuel when on CD.....

my CDC was quite dismissive of my desire to exercise... he says if you were to lose 4lbs on CD in one week, if you exercise you won't actually lose 5lbs IYKWIM, so he reckoned it wasn't required.... but i said i do it now for "me time", social aspects and cardio... plus it's got to help with toning up too and core strength...... and it's a good habit to have for when you are maintaining your weight as it will make life easier....

i can't understand this weight watchers philosophy that if you exercise you can have extra to eat... and it doesn't even have to be healthy extras... surely better to leave the deficit and lose more???

  • Everyone who is doing CD must remember that yes you will lose the weight put to keep it off its a change of life style what is needed which will include exercise, and food and drinks in moderation! that is the hardest thing to get my head around for myself at the moment but we can all do it!!
