Hmm Cava - not had that in YONKS! it goes very well with fries and mayonnaise :D

I missed the party! I had to work! [stamps foot] The camper van will be a nice one - it might even have an awning! - tho not as posh as Snaggles' extension!

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nope you haven't - we are planning it for when you are ready to head off - so we can give you a seriously good send off!:beer::beer:

Seaxwyn, it *is* a fear, you're right - I need to be out there, getting into debt has really derailed me, but I can see the direction my path needs to be now. Your children are still quite young, aren't they (mind you, you're younger than me!) so its different, as you say - but this is not how the second half of my life is supposed to be! So I'll be off. Backed up by the rental income from two properties, hopefully.

If you have the rental coming in then go for it! How soon before you think you can do this?

    Awww... a dfw sendoff! :kisses3:

:o Its going to be a couple of years, probably :o:o I need to get out of debt, I need to make the trading work, get a plan together of what to actually do, get my language skills up to speed, get this house renovated (its currently falling down around my ears) and work with all my clients on endings... with my partner too, come to that, tho he knows about this stuff already.

I'm just cooking my rice to take to London, and I realised that I picked some apples and blackberries yesterday - so I've cooked them! I even remembered (from my childhood :) ) to let the blackberries soak for a bit to let some of the junk rise to the top! I still didn't cook them together actually, even shop bought blackberry products always seem a bit prickly to me, but I steamed them on top of the apples! And they're still steaming, over the rice. I've never eaten anything from my own garden before, except for a few chives, so this is exciting!

Enjoy your lunch! We picked 9lb of blackberries last weekend and made 12 pots of jam (and a delicious crumble). I felt like a domestic goddess!

    :hello:

Yep, domestic goddess! It doesn't take much for us, does it! :rotfl: Well, not for me, anyway - I don't cook for a family, just for me, so results are sometimes a little .... odd.

Lovely to see family, Bob, always - on my trip to see my mum I'll be seeing my brother and hopefully his eldest son too ( :o his eldest son is 32, older than many of the posters on this board). I'm going to be a great-aunty!

Right, I'm trying to be a bit more organised from now on after the catalogue of disasters and non-starters that was my Friday. So today I have:
    - printed out a new set of squares to colour in, cos I want a new colourscheme a la pandapaws (bright red every £500).
    - I'm currently printing out part of the paperwork for my mystery shop tomorrow.
    - have accepted one for Monday week - its going to give me a tiny amount of money in itself, but I'm off that day, I'll use it to go for a walk in a different area, something like that.
    - tidied up a bit in the living room.
    - listed all my survey sites and cashback sites on one page of my journal - I just had the idea to do it, and found that I had £6 at freefivers. I'm hoping I can get that up to a reasonable amount.
    - joined the mse old style quidclan.

Ug, just placed my first m.b. qualifier in euros with bet24.... really scared! Had to use mozilla firefox, couldn't get explorer to work, and at one stage it said my info wasn't encrypted. Thoroughly freaked out now, and I'm off for a while, I'll have a break and then go out.
