  • Am i right in thinking that when (or if) a&l refund the ppi and any subsequent insurance it will be paid off the loan (as i am still paying it) so i finish paying it earlier than expected.............or do they send a cheque?

Yeah, thats so annoying it was going to be 10 million but cause they had the money up front (probably from taking from everyone else!!) then they allowed them 7 million.

I wish I had 3 million in my back pocket...

They were only fined for telephone sales during 2005 and 2007 you know..

Is that when yours was matty...???

They would refund you what its cost you up to now in cheque I would imagine and then redo the loan and take the rest off of that... That is how some companies work.

The calls during the cooling off period when they are not allowed to get in contact with you. They will most probably say "mr and mrs rang us to speak to someone so we called them back on their request".

He calls us on 27/01/04 to confirm has sent re-doc we confirm yes have it on 27th, he then calls again on 28th "quick call to see if new c/a arrived he already new the day before we had it. he had to leave a message on answer phone for us to call him back.

There are others chasing p60's valuations and god knows what.

If this was a new agreement then again they should have given you the cooling off period before paying the money out... You should also have had a pre contract agreement (we never had one either!!)..This should be sent out 10 days before the original one and then after that you get the proper agreement and then you sign and get the money...

Go for it matty - you have every chance of winning this.

I do believe you have a choice hun, if you want your money repaid directly to you, especially if they admit to the mis selling then I would say the ball is in your court, but if you prefer for this to be reduced from your loan hun its you choice.
See what the outcome is on this and take if from there, but good luck anyway.;)

I have dreams of PP piggin I.

I just some life back.. I want justice and I want and need my money that these took from us and pretty damn quick too.

I just hope my co-op other two are sorted this week. FIngers crossed on that and that should ease some but my point with the Firstplus one is its 6 years in March since settling and if Fos cannot do anything I want the opportunity of taking this to the courts..I believe we have a case for fast tracking (this went into the FOS in may this year) after being messed around by the FOS too as twice its been assigned an adjudicator and twice thrown back as outside of juridiction. It was so disheartening to be told one day, yes we will look into this and then the next "no we can't".

If we win these then we can pay some of the mortgage off and reduce the amount we owe and then able to afford paying the interest and capital too. (only paying interest at the mo). It will be such a relief and then perhaps I can start to get a life..I just want to keep this roof over my kids heads..

That Firstplus loan was the worst decision of our lives.

I'm sure justice will come to us all. Like I say the worst time is waiting for it to come.

Yes us to fp worst decision of our lives too:mad: could kick myself sometimes for being so stupid
