However, you have to be careful what you say as some of the customer services representatives give you the third degree, as though it is the customer who is in the wrong! I really do think this is an attitude problem that Tesco needs to address.
I have had a similar situation over the last few days with my points. They messed up the order to begin with, and so I have been on the phone loads with all the hassle - and then especially to make sure I got my points. However, although it yet remains to be seen, I got through to a VERY helpful man in the Wine warehouse call centre who has actually rung ME to say he is going to make sure the points are on by Friday.
My advise is BE NICE, BE PATIENT and BE PERSISTENT! and be prepared to explain yourself several times!!! I will keep you posted as to whether I get them!
Current points total - 9108.. and counting!!!!! Here comes the sun.....0 -

smartsaver wrote:What number did you call for the wine warehouse call centre? I am waiting for wine ponts from January - the order was over £100.00 too ..
I called 08457225533 and then I think it is option 2. I had another call from them this morning to say they have to wait 10 days to see if the points go on themselves. If they havent by then, they will add them manually. They have promised to do it in time for the cut off date.... It remains to be seen!!! Good luck!0 -
When is the cut off date?
Thanks

I have a feeling it is the second week in April (in time for May mailing). - I stand corrected though if anyone knows more definitely.
If they dont make it by then, I shall be demanding extra points. After all, not only did they mess up the order, but they then messed up the points. Not great.
And that phone number isn't cheap to keep calling!0 -
Does everyone have the same cut off dates? April sounds early... I didn't get my statement till 17th march for Feb's. I thought cut off would be the end of May then we get them in June?Thanx

Last cut off date was 29 Jan so end of April sounds about right as vouchers are sent every three months.0

I have to say, that from my experience, my advice would be ... don't bank on it! I have had the same promise before and it meant nothing other than a means to getting you off the phone.0 -

I got the following 0800 number from their website to do with Clubcard points:
Clubcard
Telephone 0800 591688, 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday
Don't use the 0845 number unless you absolutely have to.0 -
