Free £20 dvd voucher

Options
Speech-Mark-Left.gif Official Insert:

This is a great offer. A DVD retailers website is giving away a £20 voucher to spend on its site when you sign up to its free DVD rental trial - and best of all you don't actually have to pay anything to get the trial, and can cancel at the end of it if you choose to.

How to get it

Go to DVD.co.uk* and then click the tab at the top of the screen that says DVD Rental (its the second from the left)

Warning

Sadly if you've used a DVD rental service provided by Screenselect or Video Island (which provides the rental service for DVD.co.uk) before you can't get it but if you haven't, you're quids in.

Your free trial ends 21 days after you've registered or when you've been sent the fifth DVD rental, whichever is the earliest. The offer ends on 6 May.

BIG WARNING: To register you must give your credit or debit card details. If you don't want to continue with the service you must cancel before the free trial period ends. If you don't your card will be debited automatically for the monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time so if you're at all concerned you'll forget, you're better off cancelling early on.

dvd.co.uk are currently doing an offer with screenselect that if you sign up to their free trial in April you get a free £20 voucher to spend on their website.

Doesn't seem to say anything in the t&c about a certain amount spending required or anything.

I can't do it unfortunately as I used screenselect a while back

here is the link if anyone is interested

With these sort of offers, you normally receive the freebies after the end of the free trial. Don't forget to cancel the trial in good time, before your card gets debited! :)

No postage as far as i'm aware, but be warned it's a 3 week or 6 disk trial (whatever comes first). I'm gonna cancel as soon as i'm verified without receiving any disks to see what happens - they do say you can cancel anytime and still get the £20 voucher!

I remember a while back when they ran a promotion for a free £5 voucher to spend on the site when you signed upto screenselect. You applied for the offer and entered your details apart from credit card info and a week later without an DVD's or anything you received the voucher by email.

I presume it was a glitch in the system and don't know if it still works

This is so great! I also got my free voucher today, before getting any rentals! Getting the rentals is quite nice too, screenselect do games, which is quite cool =)

I ordered Sims 2- Open for business (14.99) and theme park world (4.99!) which is a game I've always wanted! Free postage too =D Went through the check out perfectly =)

Many many thanks for posting this =D

Here is a copy of the voucher email without my code obviously ;)
Thanks for subscribing for DVD Rentals! Please read all of this message before using your voucher.

Here is your voucher code entitling you to £20 off any purchase you make from dvd.co.uk. Just enter the voucher code underneath your credit card details on the dvd.co.uk checkout screen and we will take up to £20 off your order value. Please not, you must still enter your credit card details, even if the voucher covers the full amount of your purchase as we need to confirm your identity and that you are over 18 years of age and able to buy any DVD on our site. There will be no charge made to your card if your purchase is less than the value of the voucher.

    Voucher Code:

You can use the voucher code yourself, or you can give it to a friend if you like. Anyone can use it, but it can only be used once so it must be used in its entirety, we cannot give any change on unused parts of vouchers. This voucher lasts for three months, which means it will expire on 10 July 2006. Make sure you use it before this date.

Thanks again, and remember to tell your friends about the DVD rental service. Tell them to sign up during April via the dvd.co.uk website at http://www.dvd.co.uk/rental and they will all get the first 3 weeks rental free and a £20 voucher to spend at dvd.co.uk if they become a full subscriber.

Oh and don't forget, 5% cashback from Quidco ;)

    http://www.quidco.com/dvd-co-uk/

So really, its £21 free :D + £15 worth of rentals

Oh btw i wouldn't really recommend ScreenSelect, signed up Saturday and haven't had a DVD sent to me yet.

If you do forget to cancel i wouldn't worry, as it would only be £10, then you would still be £10 up
