PTI Europe is also Vistaprint. Just had a panic on seeing £42 come out and matched it up with thatEveryone has a photographic memory, it's just some of them don't have film.0

Thank goodness for MSE ... I was having a moment trying to work out what the £9.95 I was paying out to PTI Europe was - turns out it's Weight Watchers.
Whether it's "allowed" or not, it's terrible business practice to make this kind of change without informing customers.0 -
Ive just checked my statement and Ive had £39.99 taken out from PTI Europe. Im not on weightwatchers, havent bought from Amazon, infact I cant recall spending £39.99 on anything recently. Better call the bank. Would they be able to tell me exactly which retailer it is? How will I find out? Help please!0

Ah just thought! Last week I paid off our Haven holiday, £39.99. That must be it as its not showing anywhere else on our statement. Rediculous having one title to cover loads of companies.0

I have one too, mine was for Weightwatchers.0

I placed an order with Amazon on 25 March, it showed up on my statement as PTI Europe, but on the 28th it was refunded. I haven't taken any action or cancelled the order or anything, and Amazon hasn't contacted me. Has this happened to anyone else? Perhaps they're just going to recharge me under the correct name...0

I've also had a payment to Amazon, that showed up as PTI Europe Region in my bank statement, refunded. Looks like it will be charged again under Amazon's name:

Credit Card Statement Correction
March 28th, 2008, by: 2checkout
During the period of March 19 – March 25, European customers’ credit card statements may have indicated a transaction from an unknown merchant, “PTI Europe” or “PTI Europe Region”. This notation is a technical coding error from the credit card payment processor for our company. This error will be reversed and corrected with the proper Merchant information on their statements on or before April 1.
We apologize for any concern or inconvenience that this may have caused you.0 -
Yes, today Ive checked my account. £22.62 rightly charged on the 26th March, then
refunded 31st (updated to Monday). We have received our order, never cancelled it.
Dodgy payment processing methinks.0 -
Same here paid out paid in, got items but not cancelled. The measure of love is love without measure0

same here with my £14.99 AOL payment, instead of AOL it said "Pti Europe Region GBP" went out on the 21st march as normal, then on the 28th it was credited back to the account it just said "correction",rang AOL they said my payment was taken OK and they have not credited my account.
very puzzling???0
