just got back from my self employed rounds - yay! Had a successful night, did quite a bit of upselling and things are looking good. Who knows maybe 1 day it will be pay me a wage . . . .

I have to ask - where do the star wars smilies come from?
I know nothing about these things but OH just went all wobbly at the sight of them.

Rubbing Ian Botham's what Lois? I've heard he likes that sort of thing . . . . . .

You stay on the naughty step for the same number of minutes as your age in years .... so only you will know the answer to that, BB.

They're always muttering at something. So long as it's not me that's fine. Or if it is me, so long as it's REALLY quiet muttering I don't mind.

Good idea petrichor but expensive and complicated to arrange, what with flights, accomodation, someone to look after the kids, taking time off work to get there, all the arrangements would be too costly and involved for me, I feel it is best to keep it in this country to the nearest place for everyone, obviously we all live far apart but there has to be a meeting place that maybe could not make each and everyone of us happy but the vast majority?:D

The landing is awful! As soon as the wheels hit the tarmac the pilot has to slap on the brakes because the runway is so short. If he misjudges it at all you end up eating the headrest of the seat in front of you.

Morning all:D I am off to the shops today to buy the ingredients for WW sweet and sour haddock curry, H doesn't fancy it so he is having along with the kids hicken fajitas WW style, I have to do three times because little one likes them mild and not many peppers, second son medium hot and no peppers and H super hot and loads of peppers and pile it all on:D

I am fed up with looking at the WW books and thinking oh that sounds nice I will make that and going to the kitchen to find I am missing 3/4 ingredients to make it and end up not doing it so this morning is my mission with my list get all the basics and then re-read the time to eat WW book and choose the recipes:D

Oh, I hadn't noticed - I don't like take offs and landings at the best of times, so they all seem awful to me.

Thanks for the consideration, however MrsS has suggested that we be going away on either of those weekends. Funnily enough she is looking at Dublin or Amsterdam :rotfl:
