Morning all - just wanted to report in after the Rosemary class last night - just a pound off this week, a bit disappointed as I've worked really hard and done loads of exercise (including walking to work from the Waterloo station over the last 2 days thanks to the tube strike grrr although it was 8 miles in total so good for me really:)) but at least its going in the right direction.

Onwards and upwards - or should that be downwards thinking about weight loss! ;)

    JM xx

........don't be disappointed JM, it's still a loss and the benefit from your walking may not have kicked in yet. It's totally possible that you'll get a very nice surprise next week if you stick to the plan.

I use a lot of pulses and lentils (when I have an appetite), would these count? (Sorry I'm at a loss when it comes to SW days) BTW Tesco are doing their own meat free products, have you tried any? I've bought the 'bacon style rashers' and may try them later. I'm a bit dubious about them as they're on 17 calories for 2 rashers, but I'll let you know how they are.

I don't think they are. It's mostly fruit and veggies

I've tried the spinach and ricotta sausages. I have no idea of the calorie content, I just know they're FREE on green days! I really like them, but you have to be careful not to overcook!

I was just thinking that a lot of people have said that they didn't feel brave enough to post before and after (current) pictures and yet would maybe prefer to meet up in person. I find that strange. I guess I am happy to post my pictures but I am not sure about a meet up. That's VERY real!

In principle would very much like to meet up but depends when and where, as it does for everyone. But maybe I'm too new to play? (see, there's MY extreme lack of confidence showing too!:o )

Now have promised myself NOT to check the thread until at least after lunch so please don't all keep chatting too much. I have to go and do what I'm paid to do.:(

.... again, I can't commit to anything. I'm by no means to be counted in.

What's up Ajax are you afraid I'm going to give you that beating I've twice promised you? :D Or will MrsA not allow you out to play?:p

Belfast is a good place to go but I must admit Dublin is much much better. (and I have connections in Dublin that can tell us the best bars etc. to go to.) Guys, I'm up for a meeting anywhere that's within range of an airport I can fly into from Belfast. (Never, never fly into Belfast City - the horror of the landing  I understand CoD is the same). sorry that's City of Derry airport but I just think COD sounds better - especially when the planes sink into the runway:rotfl:

    Good morning

while I remember (post baby brain ain't what it once was), re: veggie stuff, tesco veggie bacon is ok but I did find it repeated a lot. Quorn much tastier. Tesco lincolnshire sausages quite tasty though!

I re-joined WW for free yesterday. I have one stone to get to goal, 9 lb to get back to top range of healthy BMI, so first target is to get that 9lb off by Christmas. I need to be back to that weight by time baby is six m onths old or will be liable to pay again, and as I got to gold I'd rather not have to pay again.

My new points total is 30 per day with 8 for breastfeeding, should be 10 but lil man has 1 formula bottle per day. It is a lot of points to use and yesterday I managed 28. So far only used 3 for porridge today, so will try to have decent 10 point lunch, and will just go from there.

    Have a good day.

  • Hi grannynise and victory.

Thanx so much for the encouragement, I know it's better off than on, but sometimes I get fed up, thanx to everyone on this forum I carry on as there is loads of encouragement and everyone has achieved so much, it's wonderful to read everyone's stories and see what can be done with a bit of willpower and loads of motivation.

I must admit I also don't have much time to spend on the forum as I work really long hours and spend alot of weekends on call so don't always get to post, but I love reading everyone's stories and everytime I do I find myself trying to catch up on pages of posts to read lol. Am sorry about the meet because I would absolutely love to meet you all, you've been an inspiration to so many, but will be away in sunny Cape Town for 5 weeks.

Lois, thanx so much for the chart, seem to have lost 10.5 pounds on the chart, but have only lost 9.24 lbs, might be my problem with the kgs thing though as I'm not that good at pounds but according to my calculator I have lost 4.2kgs. Thanx so much for the hard work and it really encourages me to keep at it. Thought I would give the 5lb thing a miss this month as I find it to difficult to focus on 5lbs at the moment, to much pressure lol.

Thanx so much to everyone on here, and sorry bout the essay.
    :p

    Cheers
