I might even have one or two friends I may be able to crash with if it came to it. My only problem would be how to stop the OH tagging along.
I read on other forums (I think it was old style) they organised meeting up. Does anyone on here know anyone over there they could ask? Just about the logisitics of it all.
I reckon anything is possible if you put your mind to it, look at all of us loosing weight, yehay:j :j :j
The internet, google would sort out the logistics, what we have to do is to sort out a place, then after that comes a day, time etc, I did my friends reunited reunion via email, it toook some months but we started off with London outside planet hollywood on a day and time and then the finer details and emails started pouring in but we managed it in the end, petrichor you up for it also?;)0 -

The absolute honest answer is I don't know :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't want people to be disappointed when they see me, but I may (I said may!) put a piccie on here at the weekend. When I saw those of ajax in the same shirt, I thought about having a photo taken now wearing the only clothes that would fit me back in January when I first posted here, as I don't have a before photo, but if I do it this way and show one of me in the kit that fits me now it might just soften the impact
xxxx
does that make sense? I know what I mean :rotfl:I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

.. Superfree foods are free on both original and green. Speed foods are stuff which particularly assist loss. Typically veggies, but even baked beans are a speedfood on green as they are so fibrous.
It's like 'free but even better'.0 -
petrichor I am terrible when it comes to meeting new people, my lonely H will verify that as he goes from work do to work do (including this last saturday having lost all the weight) on his own because I get myself into such a state I end up backing out and refuse to go using the kids as an excuse, self confidence is a hard one to come by, loosing all the weight or not it comes from more than that and I have had to live with lack of for many a year.
When I organized the friends reunited school reunion one I was fine via email etc but as the day approached I was feeling ill with the worry, I managed it and the day passed off brilliantly, no one would be in the slightest disappointed in you, or anyone else, the beauty of all this is we understand each other and we know how hard a time we have all hard and we have something in common that has helped and saved us many a times from giving up or going crazy so it is just a way of saying thank you and thank God for you all:D0 -

THAT is the list so far of people that want to meet up, let's say December so that gives loads of time for weight loss, child care, day off work, save up for it, thinking about it,etc, etc, if someone else wants to choose the date, day and venue that is fine just bit by bit it comes together.... so December, where? London? When....0 -

I use a lot of pulses and lentils (when I have an appetite), would these count? (Sorry I'm at a loss when it comes to SW days) BTW Tesco are doing their own meat free products, have you tried any? I've bought the 'bacon style rashers' and may try them later. I'm a bit dubious about them as they're on 17 calories for 2 rashers, but I'll let you know how they are.I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! .......I have some Tesco sausages in the freezer but not pointed them up yet. It would be like being unfaithful to Quorn to eat them.
With regard to lentils and pulses - absolutely. Lentils are a speed food and also highly fibrous, and most other pulses are speed food (or even superspeed) and also extra high in fibre.
Don't forget, all this is relevant on a green day, they may even be pointed when on a red day (in fact I'm sure they would be).0
