    Coincidence or what? or does it scream revamp of kitchen and I need new stuff or is it screaming just greedy?

    Yes I know, electricals can break down together - my washing machine (5 years old) and dishwasher (14 years old, really should've had a funeral for this one)) broke down within weeks of each other, but did I ask on freecycle for a new one, nope I went out and bought new ones (haggling first at Tesco successfully :D) and offered the broken ones for parts on freecylce. Unfortunately no takers.
