Must be the excitement of getting a new mattress. Too much jumping up and down I suspect.

I'm glad there is a new thread, I got the the end of the old one and saw 'Closed' and went into a cold sweat! Got to get my 'fix' somewhere;)

and on that note...I saw this today:

What is w/b? someone care to enlighten me, please?

Hundreds in the holiday park up the road :D

    Is it "with box"??

My first time on this thread following a search today to see if anyone was experiencing the same issues I've been experiencing with freecycle.... great thread but why bash the board guide for doing her job, folks?

Martin has posted elsewhere to remind us that no-one 'owns' a thread, regardless of who started it. Long threads can cause problems for the server and so the Board Guides need to close them down and start new ones occasionally... freecycle was started to generate a bit of community spirit - let's do the same on MSE! :)

As long as we freecycle thread junkies have a home, I'm happy :D

Yeah, I've no objection to that, but let's also think about the feelings of the people who work to provide this service - they deserve to be happy too!

Hi Annie - welcome to the thread.
Mine was a very light hearted comment in what has always been a predominately light hearted thread - with much sensible comment also.

Have a read back through the old thread, and you'll see what I mean :)

And then there was this one:
Wanted caravan to be used for self build project

Will they take it apart and put it back together again?

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We've had someone posting in one of my groups for unwanted cars and motor bikes 'for a college project' - would like as many as possible.

    ..... yeah, right

Thanks for the reply Pam. Sorry if I was being a bit harsh or if you thought I was aiming my comments at you. :)

I'm going to bow out now and leave the threads in peace.....
