A bit off topic, but did you read the story in the press about the rampant rabbits that destroyed a £400 flower display - just left a few stalks
If Bones gets wind of all these rabbits on the loose, he'll be posting soon for more freezers.......:D

I'm another Freecycle nut, what a fantastic site it is! Makes me laugh and  when people ask for ridiculous items but wow - some of the offers are amazing! I love how resourceful some people can be, I've given away bits of wood and all sorts which someone has found a good use for, loads of toys that the kids have grown out of, furniture I no longer needed etc. My son wanted a sofa bed and lo and behold somebody offered one, I got it and it's a good one! Old fashioned but really heavy and strong, perfect for a teenagers bedroom! He covers it with his duvet when his mates are round and it looks cool. Just collected a load of Tesco school vouchers for my dd's special school too. Fab stuff!

all long threads get culled eventually it makes the board run smoother, so had nothing to do with heather wanting her name first,

I dont agree. It makes it look like it was her idea to start the thread. When in fact it was cricks (credit where credit is due)
Now if we want to look at back messages we have to clich on the hebrew's link. How is that making it run smoother.

I feel like doing something naughty, like starting yet another freecycle thread for the hell of it
What an excelent idea.. Why shoult we allow the forum police to hijack the thread?
I think the thread should be started by one of the main contributers
Frugalpam welshdeedee 16011996 or restarted by cricks

Dont forget te remind that our last thread had 2566 replies and 51,807 views.

my mother has asked me to see if any Freecycler has a
standard single bed base as her old one fell to bits a week
    after getting a new mattress

Must be the excitement of getting a new mattress. Too much jumping up and down I suspect.

And then there was this one:
Wanted caravan to be used for self build project

Will they take it apart and put it back together again?

    Hmm.. maybe! :rotfl:

Shall I email the person who wants the Playstation and ask them?
Was thinking of something along the lines of this:

    Hi,
I have a PS2 but not to give away but could you kindly tell me what the blazing knicker lining you meant by w/b.
    Thank you and happy freecycling
