Hi - Can I pick your brains please? I've got a V4 but struggling to programme the routing table, even though I've watched the video and read the manual over and over again!
I have a BT line but as of Monday, Onetel's UKLeisureTalk Plan will be active on our line which means that all our calls will be automatically routed via Onetel. However, I still want to use 18866 and other providers to route our calls.
Soooo can someone tell me how to programme the following please?
All local calls --> route to 18866 daytime; route to Onetel evening & weekends
All UK national landline calls --> route to 18866 daytime; route to Onetel evening & weekends
All mobile calls --> route to 18866 daytime & evening; route to 1899 weekends
All USA & Canada calls --> route to 18866 daytime, evenings & weekends
UK Calls I wish to show my number to (ie use 1470) ---> route to 18866 daytime, route to Onetel evening & weekends
All 0845/0870 calls --> route to BT daytime, evenings & weekends
All 0800 calls ---> route to BT daytime, evenings & weekends

Do you have a little bit of an idea on how to programme the box as in getting to the page where you can add Carriers (like Call18866, etc) and add/amend the routing table?
If yes, I can post the carriers to use and the correct routing, etc but if its no its probably a bit more indepth to do for a post.
As you know what you want, you could just ask Orchid to programme it for you for £2 (you would easily get your money back).0 -

Hi bbb_uk..yes I can get into the routing table itself and use the pull down lists for Carriers etc. Just do not know how to programme it if Onetel is my CPS provider ... so just need to see a picture with that set upStart Balance: £194,162.57

As your calls will automatically route via OneTel from Monday, all you need to do is select in the routing section, carrier '0 - Not Routed', when you want to use OneTel's CPS service.
Therefore, in your case for the "Route All 0's" & "Local L" routing information just select Call18866 (18866) for your daytime calls, and select "0 - Not Routed" for your evening & weekend calls.
If you want, I can do a picture for you but I'm not sure how to display within a post I can therefore email you the picture if you wish?
(unless someone else can provide me with advice on how to display a small picture within a post)0 -
bbb_uk..I've just checked and it seems that Onetel will be active on the business line from Monday but not our home line (I will be use the dialler on our home line). Sorry for misleading
Soo it seems that I will have BT for a little while longer and I need to wait for a letter from BT confirming when Onetel will become our CPS.
Thanks for the info though....I will definitely use this. The only thing I am confused about is how to route mobile calls to 1899 as those numbers all start with "0" too. Am I looking at this all wrong?Start Balance: £194,162.57

Orchid,
Here is a link to the Routing Info you requested. (i couldn't figure out how to put in a post so provided a link instead)
You'll notice, I've added on 118 xxx & 192 translate. This will forward all calls to 118xxx & 192 to OneTel's free* DQ service.
I'm also not sure about Line 13 in the Routing table as we automatically withhold our number all the time. Just test it out when OneTel is up and running properly if it doesn't work just e-mail Orchid.
* OneTel's Directory Enquiries service is only free when your line is setup to use OneTel via CPS (Carrier Pre-Selection).
Hope this helps0 -

I have an orchid dialler. together with 18866 and 1889 and talktalk free weekend and evenings.
It took three weeks and lots of emails to get everything working but I estimate I have now saved the cost of the dialler from my BT bill (within 3 weeks!!!!!)

Hi All,
I need to redirect calls to my mobile phone number to my work desk phone Mon-Fri during the day (the missus just cant get it into her head to call me on the 2p per min number instead of the 10p per min mobile number). Does anyone know if I can do this in the same way as the 118xxx & 192 redirects? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction for making the config changes?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mark,
I spoke to Orchid this morning and this is what i was told:
You need to contact orchid and get them to add the following
Office Number (Carrier Code)
Mobile Number (Routing Code) with "T" attribute
Set your new carrier code in your table, then set your routing code(mobile number) to the carrier code you just set, for "day" only, you could set the other times "Night" and "weekend" to whichever carrier is routing mobiles.
So if your next available carrier code was number 4 and your mobile carrier wsas carrier 3, you would set as follows in the routing code section
Code Description Day Night Weekend
(MobNo) - Translate Mobile - T - 4 - 3 - 3.
Hope this makes sense, the guy (richard, i think), said he will do an email to all users regarding setting this up so if i have made a mistake i am sure he will be able to put us right.
