Don't blame the oil company, they asked oh if he wanted a fill up he said yes. You left a message for a 900 fill up. I am a oil delivery driver to me a fill up, top up are the same thing you wanted your tanked filled up, which they did.
Now if you said 900 ltrs only thats different, it will be interesting to see how they are going to get exactly 367 ltrs out of your tank.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Sundaycall wrote:I think Nicholls are just cherry picking the very dearest prices on the market to make themselves look good which IMHO is manipulative and underhanded. Based on ValueOils.com's price I'd say they're one of the many cheaper suppliers that Nicholls have conveniently forgotten to include in their table.
NOT GOOD NICHOLL OILS! >:(
I love all these adverts nowadays about saving UP TO £180 on insurance .. when compared with who?
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
Not sure if this is the right thread but I am sure AB will keep me right!
My nextdoor neighbour called in and asked me if I had any idea where 900 litres would bring my tank up to. As it happens I had oil delivered the week before and showed them the level in my tank. We then checked their tank and it did not look as full despite the oil being delivered that day.
They contacted the supplier and a senior member came out with a tanker and pumped the oil out of their tank all 600 litres of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
The supplier could not understand how this has happened as the receipts had been printed on the lorry (I have my own ideas!)
anyway the supplier put 1000 litres back into the tank (I would have wanted more!) apologised and said the driver would be sacked.
The thing that annoys me is that how many people check the tank or go by the "stamped" receipt and how many times has this or other drivers duped people?
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDave0 -
I hope you contacted the police as this is 'obtaining money by deception'.
A criminal offence!
Unless its reported and investigated we are all potential victims?0 -
