Pushchair stolen at Center Parcs - advice please??

Buy a buggy you that you can secure....not the blingiest one!0
-
May I ask which centre parcs you visited?
Also, as you would like advice may i ask what your goal is that you would like to achieve, ie a letter of apology, compensation etc ?
Maybe it would be a good idea to put it into writing highlighting your experience and put some ideas to them how they can improve their site security, including signage reminding visitors to be aware of thieves.
At least that way there can be some good out of the situation, if you can help other parents realise that it is not a good idea to leave the buggy insecure.
I have visited CP for many years and I have never used a buggy there, to eliminate problems like these. I took a baby back pack and used the trailers from 6 months onwards.
Even if you had travel insurance there is no way you would be covered as you left the buggy unattended.0 -
The safest place to leave a buggy is in the boot of the car or at home when going to places like Center Parcs - personally, if I was to take my baby to such a place, rather than risk leaving something unattended ,of such a value and that can easily be sold at a Carboot or Ebay, I would be sure to take....................
Convenient, safe and cost effective:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Just put a bike chain or rope lock through the back wheel, it's hard to drag away, and looks obvious to anyone with the lock dragging behind if it's pinched.0

Center parcs sound like they have done more than they needed to. £60 is very good compensation for something that you could potentially have prevented by locking the buggy up. Every time I have been to CP I have seen signs in the buggy park warning you that they are left at your own risk. As someone else said did you check just to make sure she didn't take yours by accident rather than maliciously? Well done CP i say :j0

I'm not sure that one is part of the slingrider range but I could be wrong, thank you for pointing this out, also they have recalled the infantino range.
As far as I know, no other range has been recalled.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
