Why is everyone saying it will REACH record levels? Here in north devon they have already reached £1.20 and are still rising! This is getting rediculous. Something has to be done, but what? What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Get us a new government and then the £ will strengthen .0 -
It will get to a certain level ( we havent decided yet) and then we're only going to use the car once a week for shopping and for those times when we have to use the car due to time limits. My children go to school 3 miles away, we are going to cycle together except on a Monday I will have to drive them as I have to be at work at 9.30 in a different part of the city.
My husband already cycles to the train station then gets the train the short distance to work. He is looking into electric bikes, he would cycle all the way except the shower facilities are on a different part of the site and not great.
This is the only way I can think of to cut down on the expense of travel, we have to do something.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of petrol prices.
When the wholesale cost of oil goes down, petrol prices carry on going up, when the wholesale cost of oil goes up the petrol prices go up even further. I'm absolutely fed up of it. there is no cheap public transport alternative, i see a point where it's going to become too expensive to drive to work.0 -
What we need is a blockade, some outside oil refineries and a big one out side parliament.
I use my car as little as possible now its just too expensive, but I need it to commute to work as I work shifts. I'm seriously considering asking my boss if I can work 9-5 mon - fri so that I can use the train or bus as its looking to be far cheaper.
Having a car is soon going to be for the rich only. This country stinks0 -

That's because of the taxes and fx rate.
Take them out and we pay amongst the lowest prices in Europe for fuel..0 -

yeah, i know that without taxes and vat and vat on taxes and taxes on vat, we'd probably pay around 50-60p / litre.0 -
