Returning as in returning to Cap1 or returning to Equifax? I had a Equifax trial and cancelled it, then got my Cap1 card and signed up for 2 a year free and it was fine. If you mean returning to Cap1, I think you might get another 2 per year, I think it's done on the card rather than the name....that's only a guess though, you might want to check with them, as it may be linked to your credit file that you've had 1 free (for example) so should only have 1 more until X date.....

After 2years and 4days with capital one and still on the opening £100 limit, I have closed my account with them.
I have been twice refused an increase - so they can stick it.

Although, I have a cunning plan.....
I'm going to wait a few months and then apply for their progress card and see what happens.

I applied for a Capital One Progress Card on Friday and got the following message at the end if the application ..........

One of our team will now perform additional checks, which typically take 7 working days. In a small number of cases we may need more information to complete your application - if so, we'll write and let you know.

If your application is successful, we'll be sending you your Card as soon as possible. Your PIN number will be posted to you seperately.

At least it wasnt an automatic decline

    Does this sound hopeful

    Minty :)
A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it rains
