some real wacko`s out there (sorry) no way would you see me writing about my personal disasters in life and so on..... l mean come one we dont know one another, we`ve never met in fact we dont even know each others name!!!!! so l reckon we shud try to keep the thread boots ONLY !!!!! plzzzzzz

Omg! How fab would that be lol. I use to do a round trip of 4 Boots every Sunday which i loved but since they have scaled down all the glitches etc i stopped going. I have to say thought when ever i go anywhere Boots is my first stop. I think there may be pictures from last year of my stash i have collected. Will see if i can find them.

I got the Inky Eyes in the 50% sale, as it was such a bargain at £6 and I knew it wouldn't last till the 75% sale. Sure enough, it sold out very quickly!!! If you do get it instore you will be very very lucky. It is fab.

Remember - if you want it really badly, buy it at 50% off if you can afford to, better than not getting it at all! If you're just doing gift shopping and aren't too bothered about what you get (within reason!) then by all means wait for 75% off.

I actually think that the reason the 75% sale has got smaller every year is the ever increasing popularity of MSE! :rotfl:

I went to Boots in Portsmouth yesterday (the second time since Wed 20th:)) as I wanted to get Jamie Oliver pizza set, there were plenty of those on Wednesday but all of them got sold very quickly; I was very optimistic! Anyway I asked SA if they have got any stock left to put out within next few days. She said that that's all they have got. So far there are christmas cards, wrapping paper, lots of nice picture frames (silver colour), Lavender sets, Royal Jelly bags and some toys left. Also a few big tea cup sets and chocolates.

Went to Boots in Fareham shopping centre during lunch break. SAs were stocking the shelves with more Brats make-up cases and some toys. Not much stuff left, just survival kits, chocolates and men's sets. I got a couple of children's puzzles £4 each, reduced from £10 so was very pleased as they make nice birthday presents.

Hey Tara Thanks. I bought everything i wanted at 50% including both the sets im after. The reason i was asking is i like to always have a spare

I know that probably sounds odd but i hate using stuff if i dont have a spare set even shoes. If i find a really gorgeous pair of shoes i have to buy 2 pairs to keep one spare in case something happens to the other pair. I love the inky eyes but have not tried the other set yet.

Going slightly off topic does anyone remember the Boots toiletry range called Divine. I used to really like the scent and it stopped being sold. Does anyone know of something similar or perhaps it was rebranded with a different name?

Not strictly speaking a bargain but you all seem pretty clued up about the Boots toiletries.

Thank you to those who replied to my quetsion earlier. I have just returned from Boots, Market St, Manchester.
For anyone interested they still had
stripy mugs
cat mugs
dog mugs
photo cubes
lavender sets
ted baker sets
lots and lots of royal jelly
fairtrade body butter gifts
a few fcuk mens set
bucks fizz

I managed to pick up a stripy mug, a ted baker set, fcuk lip gloss set and a bobbypin gift set. I think the last two may have been returns though as i found them just left on one of the shelves. Hope that helps someone.

i was ill over xmas and was not on my usual good form for the boots sale. so missed all the on line stuff. was lucky to be given one of those hat box things for xmas though which is gorgeous, not used the special bag from last year that until then i had forgotten about until this weekend. it is then getting an outing when i am going to romford for the weekend. does anyone know if there is any sales stuff left in their store which i think is in the mall. also besides the mall parking as a long shot is there any disabled parking around there. i got a good deal staying at travel lodge but nowhere to park and too expensive to park there in the mall all weekend lol
