Hello and a warm welcome to the thread pink_numbers. It's great to meet you! :D Enjoy yourself with us and have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries. If you can put your number on your sig it would be great.

So please can I have a number and I will get started again, I am going to attempt to save 50p coins this time as I put £2 coins in last time and as much as I got the benefit at the end of the year sometimes it was a struggle, so only one wage now so the amount has reduced, but I do get more 50p coins.....I may even put the money towards a little holiday - dare I say the word - I think I deserve it.

Hi Heffi1. Of course you deserve it!! :D No-one needs to 're-apply' to keep saving. Once you've become a member you're there for every year....like it or not!!! :p;) Your No is 110 and if you could put it on your sig it would help me no end! Thanks a lot.

Well done Oops! That's a really wonderful start to the first week!! :j

Sorry Hales, but it doesn't look as though it'll be for a few days yet. Quite a few declared totals today, but there are plenty more to come yet, and they are folk that declared last year so I'd hate not to give them a fighting chance. I'm sure some members that don't come here regularly just forget all about it. Also, the fact that we are no longer on the main DFW board isn't helping and therefore they're unable to have their memories jogged. However, sparky and I are trying to help remind them by sparky having put a thread on there and me regularly bumping it! Anyone else wish to now and again ...not too often though please as folk with dire financial problems need their threads to be seen! So please be patient for a few days, all will be revealed soon enough. Thanks all.

Good to see you MSFC. :D Well done on the news about your new house and fingers crossed that the mov will go ahead in Jan. Not an easy time, but let's hope all's well.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and I hope it's not too wet for all. Keep safe, healthy and saving! :D :j :D

  • 35p in sealed pot today!!

Thanks Sue-UU for the PM and making me feel better, am definitely saving the 50p and 20p pieces and when I can make up a bag will pay it off cc, as I said the interest is a killer and is making my debt so much worse, am looking forward to Xmas this year but won't be disappointed when it is over and can concentrate on reducing it.

Have put in £7.40 this week. Had £9.15 in change in the flat, so added that, so total so far is £16.55. I am going to try and use cash for purchases, instead of my debit card, so that I can control more of my spending.

Got a couple of £2 coins yesterday, so they've gone in. Don't think I can always be that generous.

Have emptied last years slummy jar and the silver pot and between them there is £84 and I did take some out through the year, so think I will set a target for this.

Can you put my target of £200 please number is #773
