She decided that I was the worst mummy in the world and proceeded to lie down on the ground screaming at the top of her voice that she hated me and I was the worst mummy in the world !!
Everyone in the shop was staring at me and I just stood there waiting for her to calm down a bit when this old biddy came up and told me to leave her alone and buy her something to keep her happy as that is what parents should do !! I told her where to go and let Jas scream !! She eventually realised she was getting nowhere and stood up and calmly walked out of the shop with me !!
I took my little sister out shopping - she'd have been about 18 months, I was just 17. We were in a department store, and cutting through the old ladies section when she spotted a cow print wooly hat, just like Dipsy's. She decided she wanted it, and lay on the floor kicking and screaming because I wouldn't buy it for her! The old ladies looking at me like I was a dreadful 17 year old mum were amazing! I walked away and left her to it and hid just around a corner. She soon got over her tantrum when she realised I'd gone! :rotfl:money_maker wrote: »Or one day (anyone with a 7 year old girl will understand this) Jasmine dressed herself in an orange top, red trousers and a pair of pink and white trainersMy mum told me I should not have let her out without changing her first !! !!!!!! ?? She was only going to my mums and she thought she looked pretty !!
He he! I have a 9 year old girl, and have learnt that its not worth arguing. She has her own sense of style, which is a little different to mine . As long as her backside isn't hanging out of her skirt - I can ignore it! :rotfl: It's cool apparently - I wouldn't understand.:beer:0 -

Lol! My Nans 4 were all out of nappies at 9 months (apparently!). And I was on 'a rusk in my bottle' at two weeks old because I was a big baby!:beer:0 -
night SM xx
3 - I dont argue either, she likes getting all dressed up and then makes me do her hair, leaves the house looking pretty, even if a little mismatched, and comes home covered in muck
So it really doesnt matter how she leaves the house in the first place !!
Oh and she is all excited as she is a green elf in the christmas play !! She was asked to be the narrator, but she wanted to stand with her friends, so I said to her teacher she wasnt comfortable with it and she is now an elf !!The two best things I have done with my life

Yes, mine goes to school looking acceptable then [STRIKE]rolls around on the field[/STRIKE] plays football at play time, and comes home looking like she lives in a drain!
Since she turned 9, she's become more bothered about her appearance, and will only wear things that look cool - that I would know nothing about!
My sister (who's now 21) is apparently the coolest person ever., so if i want/don't want Liv to wear something, I text sister first to brief her, then tell Liv to phone Aunty Amy for her opinion! :rotfl::beer:0
