Pol - thanks for that, I'll go back and amend the update.

Pippa - I often wish we could have a real 'knit and natter' group instead of a virtual one, but I suspect that some homes would suffer a certain amount of neglect - mine would, I know! The figures are great, aren't they? I continue to be stunned whenever I do the update! All thanks to you wonderful people!

  • Good morning lovely people....big hug only girl...I have a bit of definately bumble bee orange wool if you would like it? If so pm me your address and will happily post it...my mum sent me books of stamps so wont cost me a penny and happy to send a hug in an envelope...
I'm so chuffed with my new haircut! Felt so bedraggled and its really cheered me up! Am meeting friends for coffee later and going to wool shop (big knitters) to take in the posters etc for the two groups I'm going to run for them. Am also going to swap some wool over so will feel like I've had a shop but spent no money!! Have been a busy bunny (definate sleep this pm!) and finished lodgers books...will be interested to see how she responds as insisted that she wouldnt be grateful which I said was fine...was just trying to help her settle!! Am still trying to master granny square!! Think I've got it then loose it again! not helped by changing pattern so will find one and stick to it! The rest of the day is mine though...no chores for the first time in months....wonder what I'll do?!!!!!....granny square anyone!

isom - i am going to watch sherlock holmes on the telly and do some of my big blanket - its is taking ages so i have promised myself that i will do 4 rows a day - that takes about an hour and then i will carry on with my decluttering, as the recycle men have emptied our bins and there is now more space in them for unwanted stuff.

    have a good afternoon.

Shaz - I'm so pleased that Daniel is back where he should be. Good luck and a big (((hug))) to all of you. I googled Sirda Loopa and was quite intrigued by the device. It's not even expensive, is it? I'm not sure if I could get one here so I will try and make one at some point - making a scarf in an hour just has to be good!

SGT - good to hear from you and I hope you are settling well in Spain. If you've had anything like the challenging start we had here in France, you have my full sympathy! Still, we're settling in now but I'm still missing the family like mad. I don't know how you acquired the extra things in your totals but it will have been my fault! I shall try and back track and put them back where they belong. Thanks for your kind comments about my blog - I've tried to have a 'comments' page but cannot get it to go live, so I have emailed the support team at the host site and asked them to help me with it.

Anyway, I don't know how many of you have noticed the new thread 'Knit Your Square - Part 3' on here. I shall edit this post when I find the new one, and copy and paste the first post on there.

Just popped on to post but actually want to mention so many people BUt I am sooo tired cos of masses of stuff particularly the knock on effect of having the loft insulted today. Just imagine 1 pile of things moving down the landing to another pile of things etc etc. Of course all helped by Buster > NOT !!!

Anyway will have loads of time to catch up as saga of return to Spain has become complicated !!! Kathy you nearly had a visitor !!
I will catch up after hygienist and hairdresser tomorrow ( need to secret away all the wool I bought today !!

So I am going to fall asleep hugging a crochet hook !!
Try and do a good deed every day.
