sarah - might have to adapt the christmas candle poem a bit............a lot of my candle gifts aren't particularly 'christmas' candles but with a bit of gold ribbon I'm sure it'll work.
Found your post on crackers -on the Christmas lets get organised thread I think (could be wrong -I've looked at so many...........:rotfl:) Wasn't really what I was after -least I don't think so. OH came up with this idea of making crackers with a loo roll middle (what would we do without them), wrap paper round, poke a stick through the middle sticking out more one end than the other.........twist round the paper at the ends so stick can't be seen then when cracker is pulled it doesn't make a noise..........little flag with ''bang'' on it falls off the longer piece of stick.............does that make sense ? Have told OH he's to make one first before I embark on it.............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

While I was away I had a go at mosaics..............lol - on the sea front and meant for children really but it was a lot of fun and I want to do some more now...........:rotfl:
Have to do a search for the little tiles and shapes.

Didn't get a lot while I was away but here goes:
notebook shaped like a shoe -foster daughter has a 'thing' about shoes
2 notebooks to cover with fabric -A5 size
5 shopping list notebooks to cover
linen laundry bag with a washing line and clothes embroidered on it............50p !!! (charity shop find)
Pot of chillies to grow indoors for OH -not xmas pressie -just pressie for him for no reason..............lol

Some pebbles off the beach (I know I shouldn't but I only took a few.................lol) and three pretty ring back folders from discount store.

    And that was it !

Lovely to go away - even better to get back:j

Glad to hear you had a lovely time away Mary and well done for finding time to shop!
