Bryant new build, what to offer?

Where abouts in the country are you because I live in a Bryant home and know quite a bit of info about my site and the reductions they have given.

Hi Rebecca I'm in the midlands. What kind of reductions have you heard of?
Rob0 -
I'm in West Yorkshire. Near me there were some 3 storey 4 bed town houses for sale at about 160-170k. The builders are now ready to get off site and have sold them for 100k. I was talking to site manager the other day and he said they needed to sell them quickly to release capital. I know the last few have sold for a lot less than their original price. Have to say also we have had no major problems with our home and absolutely love it.
Good luck whatever you do

Wow that's amazing! I don't think they're quite that desperate to sell though.
The office opened about ten minutes ago, I'm going to try and wait it out for him to call me and see what offer he comes back with...0 -
Hi Jonbvn,
I had looked at that site previously thanks, very scary story. I am in a better position as the house is already built and I can check it before buying it.
Still no phone call from Bryant.....0 -
....and I can check it before buying it.
Still no phone call from Bryant.....
If you do proceed, I would suggest you get a professional snagging inspection done. Worth every penny IMHO.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Yep I think I might just do that.
Ahhhhh the waiting is horrible! Will they ever call?0 -
Don't worry - they will. They need to sell this house so they will call, even if it is to come back with a higher price. They will not let a potential sale get away!
There is also some deal about tax which cannot be resolved until all houses on a site are sold so they will want to sell up and move on. Also, we have affordable housing in our street as it is a new estate. The type of affordable housing is different in each estate, but for us it is merely 3 storey 5 bed town houses on small plots of land that sold for the same price as detached 3 bed homes, all are privately owned.
Keep us posted and good luck with the negotiating :cool:0 -
Right then, I'm going to take everyone's advice and wait for them to call today. If they don't ring I'll call them tomorrow and say that I was waiting for a call back (they did promise after all) and have other properties that I am interested in (they already know this). I'll try and negotiate on the price then.
