Asdas have those re usable bags , qutie durable , white with coloured spots (think that actually supporting children in need (cin)

Maybe those could be good , but they are quite deep! I like wider things!

• Decided to get aunt and uncles basket finished tonight.
Couldn't decide what else to put in but had a rummage in storecupboard and found some double choc cookies and some cracked pepper and sea salt crackers which i thought would look okay without the boxes.

These are contents I ended up with;
Photo-0024.jpg

cookies and crackers
Home made orange marmalade
HM lemon marmalade
HM blackberry and apple jam
HM rhubarb jam
HM green tomato chutney
(last three made with home grown produce in summer:D )

Plus litre bottle of Grouse whisky which I won in raffle at work:D and happens to be their favourite.

I used a gift box for whisky that was bought in boxing day sales 60p and used brown parcel paper and ribbon to prettify the jars of preserves.:D
Photo-0025.jpg
Arranged them all in the basket (recycled) with straw packing (recycled)
Photo-0026.jpg

Lastly packaged with cellophane - the gift tag was removed from the bottle box:D
I am very happy with the result:j and hardly cost anything:D

FOR RUSTY

Think it was me that posted the original link for islepac - i was hunting for ages for them and i know i posted the link on one of the threads on here - can't remember which one though!

I found these ones that are a little bit cheaper if you're only wanting one.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NATURAL-JUTE-PRESERVE-GIFT-BAG-2-WINDOW-SMALL_W0QQitemZ110311195557QQihZ001QQcategoryZ26382QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I think they're really nice - they've made my chutney look so much more expensive and professional. I'm not sure they'll think that when they taste it but at least it looks good hey?!!! xxx

Just managed to finish my dada's Christmas hamper (it's taken me long enough) there's some odd things in there but he likes odd things! It's a 'you're going to Butlins!' theme as we go every year for his birthday;

S8300703.jpg?t=1226628305

Cost;

basket - 99p - 99p store
nivea shave gel - £2.75 - wilko
2 flannel cupcakes - approx £1 for both - ebay and wilko
solar powered clock - free - carbon creditz
2 disposable cameras - £1 - halfcost
mini iron - £1 - halfcost
jack daniels luggage tag - free - mailing list
simple shower gel - 99p - 99p store
butlins notebook - £1.25 - butlins
radox shower smoothie - free - pigsback sample
2 addidas minis - 99p - 99p store
foldable hairdryer - £1.99 - halfcost
choc gingers and choc orange pieces in cello - 99p - various

not sure about the shred - might take it off or add more!
I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around
• Fantastic baskets everyone. I love the perfect man gingerbread, there a great idea and the poem is well... :D

Anyway i was looking for a bit of inspiration for my mothers gift. Shes not really someone who likes bubble bath/pj's things like that and insists the only real present she wants is a mobile phone. But i want to add a bit of christmas spirit to it.

So she likes elderflower and i came up with idea of getting 2 bottles of the cordial, some fancy glasses and some Elderflower seeds! But then i found out they were poisonous to animals (the seeds) - no go for cat lovers!
So now im stuck as to what else to put in!
