  • Hi Supergirl... I'm sorry to read your news.

    After my m/c I told myself that at least it meant that I was able to conceive..but I know that that was small consolation at the time...

    Hope you feel better soon xxx

    Honeypop-my temp used to drop the morning that AF arrived. However, the times I did get pg (had a few m/c before this one stuck), my temp increased 3 days before AF due.. Do u know the length of your luteal phase, mine was 12 days, if AF hadn't arrived by 13 days after ov I knew I was pg and each time had a BFP to confirm it.

    No i dont know my luteal phase length, this is the first month I've ovulated really (clomid helped) and is my first month temping properly. Well it looks from the chart that i ovulated anyway.

    This is what I have:

    CD1-CD12 = steady between 35.8 - 36.1 degrees
    CD13 = a spike of 36.4
    CD14 = 36.1
    CD15 = 35.8
    CD16-CD24 = steady climb to 36.8 (CD17 = cramps)
    CD25 = a dip of 36.5 (feeling crampy again)
    CD26 = 36.8

    Today is CD27, I didn't take BBT as I was woken by a banging on the door and it was too late to take it when I realised what was going on.

    I do hate to symptom spot, I think a lot of it is psychological, but looking back I can see that the cramps on CD17 where temp started rising was probably ovulation. Fingers crossed that it was as after 14 months ttc its about time things started moving along!

    Honeypop, from the info it looks like you ovulated CD16. Therefore you r currently 12 days past ovulation. I dont know why your temp dipped CD25, this would have suggested AF arriving that day or certainly yesterday, it might have been a blip? Just carry on temping, as i mentioned previously my luteal phase was 12 days but that is quite short. Once you know what your LP it can help you predict when AF due in future cycles by counting days past ovulation. If AF hadn't arrived by the 12 days post ovulate I would then POAS.
    I found that if I had a dip I could prepare myself emotionally for AF, it was like a warning that she was about to arrive iykwim.
    Hope the temp stays high for you, fingers crossed. If u want to ask for anymore info then I'll dig my old temping diary out.
    xx
  • I have some questions and hopefully one of you lovely ladies can help me?

    Firstly, is CD1 the day after your period appears - so say, I get my period on Thursday morning, Friday would be CD1?

    If my understanding is correct, do you think it is possible to ovulate soon after CD9? We baby danced on Friday night (CD9) because - sorry if too TMI - I was in the mood :o

    Also, does everyone do this legs up in the air malarkey after BD? I didn't but everywhere seems to suggest it.

    Thanks - grateful for any help.
  • Just been reading up on some of the previous posts.

    Sorry to hear your news, Supergirl. Take care
