 since I got my remoska I have--
1) had a relapse of my ME
2) had a dozy moo run into my ankle from behind with a trolley and really hurt me in Costco
3) got food poisoning from a pastry
...I wonder if there's a voodoo high priestess working in the remoska factory who was having a BAD DAY! :mad:0 -
I haven`t used my oven for 3 months now and have taken to the remoska like a duck to water. I have the standard and have just used most of a small windfall on a grand plus shallow pan and rack. My standard one is well tried and tested now and I know I will use both as appropriate.
The nice lady at lakeland told me about their course too and I got the £10 off plus a free gift. I am awakening my sourdough starter and will feed it and liven it up over the next few days because it will make lovely bread in the grand. I can just add flour and water and salt and rest and stretch to my hearts content. Then I will spread it in the pan and leave it for 9 hours or so. I love my sourdough bread and am so happy to be able to make it without the massively expensive oven0 -
Mardatha, bad things come in 3's so you can relax now! Sorry to hear about your bad luck
Kittie, How lovely that you both sizes! Its a good idea if storage isn't a problem.
Tonight in my remoska........
I have cooked sweet potato at the bottom with a couple of tomatoes, red onion, garlic and potatoes, put rack in then placed 4 lamb chops on that s&p, herbs and sprinkle of lemon juice, cooked for around 50 mins and it was delicious. I want some muffins now but I need to watch the calories!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

I needed an instant meal after a hard day at work. Rice in the divider pan and a diced chicken breast cooked in a jar of sauce with some chick peas and shallots thrown in to make more interesting. Sat and watched telly and drank a cup of tea for 30 mins - very tasty meal followed. It's such a cool thing!0

Hi guys, I've not been around for a while but have been reading this thread for a few weeks and decided to take the plunge and order the big one. It arrived this morning and i ate the best bacon and eggs I've had in ages for lunch
I love the recipes in the little booklet, but think some of the ones in the proper recipe book are a bit fancy for my family! Anyway, i persuaded my hubby it was a good idea as our kitchen is being replaced next week and we will be without a cooker so now he will be able to have some proper meals whilst doing the work. I am a pretty poor and unimaginative cook so am hoping this will help breathe some new life into my culinary skills!!!!0 -
Hi all, okay a quick question for all you remoska owners before I go and order one.
We are a family of four and I generally cook 2 meals worth at a time, for instance Shepherds pie will be two meals worth IYKWIM.
Which Remoska will be best? the standard size or the grand?
Can you use the seperators in the grans?
many thanks for any help

Hi empy,
we are a family of 5, sometimes 6, and I would think that you would be best with the grand - if you have a lakeland near you then maybe you could have a look but imo it would be this size. The separator only appears to be sold for the standard but since the grand is bigger I couldn't see any reason why you couldn't use it although there have been lots of posts where people have used other dishes or even foil containers to separate what they are cooking.
