Hi well now I've finally sussed out how to put a picture on, here is my very poor attempt this year, plot not planned as I wanted as due to health hic-cups I was late starting and dh was eyeing up the plot for another flower bed! So things just got hurriedly put in to stake my claim, big problem this year is SLUGS! all the flowers are lovely but my poor patch is under constant attack.

Lovely seeing everybody's veggie patches. Don't you think that it's so more exciting than growing flowers? Every day there's the chance to wander into the garden and see what's grown overnight, , what's managed to survive the slugs, and so exciting when the first little tomato/courgette/bean etc starts to appear. I've been growing veggies for years, but every new season brings a fresh thrill as the first pickings arrive.0

Well done huxley - there's lots going on in such a small space! I'm always making ad-hoc additions to my little plot by adding pots and plants here and there as I acquire them, planned or not! Order can be nice, but I quite like the sponateous touches!
Your plot looks very lush and green, despite attacks from local gastropods! We have lots of slugs, and snails too. After trying several remedies suggested on here I have plumped for the animal-friendly blue pellets from Growing Success. They last OK when it rains and are around £4 for quite a big container.
Good luck with your plot and happy harvesting!!:D.·:*¨:starmod: ¨*:·. Rubiales.·:*¨ :starmod: ¨*:·.

 That's true, I will try and push them in a bit more
I agree about the excitement of veggy gardening, I am completely obsessed about checking what has grown, can't wait for my plants to start producing some edibles!!0 -

No doubt there is some sort of etiquette to all this and I have missed it, but I have nominated this thread here
