    Morning all,

Went to Mass this morning. When I got home I made some sweet potato & lentil burgers & orange & passionfruit  dessert. Just need to cook them and do veggies. After lunch I've been sewing. I was going to babysit DGS but XDIL changed plans. They came up for arv tea though and we went around and looked at a fridge & wm that's for sale. She got them both at a good price.

Just got home now and I will do some more sewing. I've already unpicked the zipper once. Attempt No 2. Dsis out of hospital and now home. She's just written an email and if she agrees to having the bypass (she needs a double) it will happen in 1 to 2 weeks time depending on when she gets back to them. She's thinking about it.   :wall:

Churchmouse probably sobbed herself to sleep last night so big <hugs> to her. :D
    Bookie Enjoy the movie.
    MrsMix Hope you are coping
    Smoky Thinking of youxx
tattycath Blood tests will tell if it's your thyroid. Hope you feel better soon.

Well I better keep going as the light's fading. My sewing machine light has blown. Will pop back later. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Morning all, Have the bm and the wm on, lovely sunny day here. I bought some ys frying steak yesterday so hm steakburgers tonight. My car had to go in for the MoT yesterday so DH took me shopping---- big mistake ! Went to Lidle and spent £54. 45p:eek: then onto Morries and spent £23.09p DH can't resist suggesting "Shall we give this a try" and kept putting things in the trolly. Mind you I did stock up on loads of reduced stuff and lots of tinned toms, kidney beans, flour etc.
Treated us to king prawns with asparagus and baked camembert for starters followed by duck breast and salad.

I collected some beautiful books, from a fellow recycler, on cookery, gardening, interiors and art. Will cut out some art pages and frame them, got loads of frames from the charity shop.

The local material shop have a sale on so will look to buy some and make curtains for the twin bedroom I have done a makeover in.

Hope you all have a good day (((((((( hugs to so manyin need ))))))))))

    Morning everyone :hello:

It's a lot colder here this morning and looks like it could rain today so I'm definitely not going anywhere!!

Spoke to DD2's teacher yesterday afternoon about the school work and lunches situation. Teacher said that any time DD2 hasn't had work or hasn't had it signed, she always had a very plausible excuse. Little mare!!
Teacher is going to speak to the other teacher involved as well to see how things are in the extra class and she will also be keeping an eye on the food situation. She says she's surprised as DD2 made a big thing of coming into school and showing her the HM versions of dunkers and lunchables we'd made  I have no idea what goes on in that child's head.

I found another version of impossible pie last night, it's a cheeseburger version made with mince, so if it turns out ok,. I'll post it up on the recipe thread for you later.

DG - I know exactly how you feel about the snoring though DH hasn't been as bad as yours!!!
twink/kyle - Thanks for keeping us updated about pen pin. Hope she's doing ok and I'm glad she know we are all thinking of her xx
tattycath - you being ill and feeling stressed is connected. I've been there recently! Have a good chat with your GP, it really helps and go do something you really like, sod everyone else and look after you. Fingers crossed for you xx
Pen Pen - Can you point me in the direction of the lemon drizzle cake recipe please, it sounds yummy? Do you fancy coming over here and doing some baking for me please :D
anniebooklover - I got one of the surveys too and I put it in the shredder by accident
mioliere - good luck with the car
AussieLass - What is your sister even doing thinking about it :wall::wall:
r.mac - put us all out of our misery please :D

:grouphug: to smoky and anyone else who needs one.

Has Martyn surfaced anywhere yet

Hope you all have a good day, see you later

    ab xx

    Morning all,

Late up this morning again, should of been up at 7 but it was 8 I really dont know whats wrong with the pair of us just lately, the alarm goes off and I'm fast asleep again. Its ok for OH he just gets dressed cleans his teeth has a glass of juice and goes off to work.

Anyway lovely day again outside. I spent 3 hours in the garden yesterday, squirrel proofing by seeds trays, just have a bit of digging to do now but the ground is so hard. Bought a seed mat fron HTA so I shall be planting that later on today when I've been to the flower stall at the market, (have already warned OH I shall be spending money today :rotfl: :rotfl: ).

Have just caught up with yesterdays posts.
mioliere - thanks for the variation to the pie. And good luck with MOT.
    r.mac - I remember watching those 2. :rotfl: :rotfl:
tattycath - good luck at the Drs, hope you get yourself sorted.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to all others I've missed.

    Hello everybody :T

Well DH is off work as his leg is now the size of a small tree. I have left him with the remains of last night's dinner for lunch (it's one of his faves) and a cheese and ham toastie I made him whilst making my breakfast (he loves cheese and ham toasties....). We should be seeing the specialist next week. Nothing much else going on - still having problems at work with the PC systems but fortunately I can access my work (or is that unfortunately  ). Already had my lovely marmite toast and have brought my sarnies. Tonight we will be taking it easy as DH will not be going to football. It's payday tomorrow :j so I will need to ring up and get all my balances today. Hopefully I have stayed in the black as I haven't been to a cash machine in ages. Unfortunately DH's exhaust (on his car, not his :rotfl: ) is hanging on by a thred so he was making mutterings about taking it to the garage today........ so that's the emergency fund raided again.

Hugs to all and "I'll be back".
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

I thought it was a tough call between him and the other guy. But I never really took to Raif, thought he was very up himself.

Thanks for everyone's good wishes, will report back when I get my bloods results later today.
