We're veggies, have been for a few years, don't eat Nut Roast, just don't like nuts, there is some more threads on here about being veggies. We'll be having a Quorn Roast, am cooking it in a roasting tin over some veggies and covering it with foil.:p
:A:A:A We're having this with Roasties, carrots and parsnips with honey
and I'm making my own gravy, not quite decided on my gravy yetI am at a Crossroads in my life and deciding which path to take:coffee:

I'm doing 'Not Just A Nut Roast' as my teen daughter is now officially veggie. I found the recipe online last week and decided to test it first. OMG, we are all having it for xmas dinner now! (i didn't put in the olives as none of us like them)

by the way, yes you eat it with a dinner and gravy. my fella even cleared the remainder the next day for his lunch - he ate it with baked beans!Blonde jokes are one-liners so men can remember them...;)0

We usually have some redwoods roast http://www.redwoodfoods.co.uk/ or some Linda M sausages. You can find redwoods in your local Holland and Barrett's. We usually have roasts potatoes, parsnips, bisto veggie gravy, and a mix of veg, bread sauce. There are plenty of veggie Christmas puds and mince pies out there, just check for suet. Have a lovely first veggie Christmas  Oh and the co-op are great for veggie wines, clearly marked on the back of the bottle near the bottom.0

A small tip I thought I'd pass on:
Do not mash up raw Quorn pieces and try and form them into the shape of a turkey for roasting.
Believe me, it REALLLLLY doesn't work!
