Thanks for this warning. I have just looked at mine and can clearly see my house, garden, car in driveway and alarm box on front of house.
Not very happy with having this on there, please could someone tell me how I get this removed.
Thanks
Build a very large wall to completely block the view of your house from the road?
Or you could just click the 'Report a Problem' link that is in the bottom left corner of every Streetview image... but that's not going to stop everyone driving past your house seeing it!0 -
I am going to take something positive from the thread. I now know how all these sad people work. They work like hyenas and track down a victim to attack and then spam th thread with as many useless and abusive posts as possible, meanwhile thanking each other every single time they write something. hence how they end up appearing like long standing nice members who have posted lots of helpful tips.
The reality being that they are sad, spiteful cyber obsessed freaks who can't hack reality.
Well I say, Martin must be soooo proud of the calibre of people he attracts to this forum
i think thats very harsh people are allowed to give opposing opinions its part of life
it was you that has so far been abusive
as for calling them the useless post's pot kettle black springs to mindReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
Maybe i'm not using it right but every place I look for isn't on street view. Even places like Deansgate in Manchester.
Maybe i'm just being a muppet which the way today is going is likely
im sure theres not much to see anyway :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. Happens a lot.
But there are 54 to 6, and there and there aren't that many posters who have actually posted and been big green meanies, so maybe, just maybe, you are being paranoid.
Just a suggestion, nothing nasty intended.
I can't help but notice by the way that one of the google links (3rd one down if memory serves) was about a village who had been burgled 3 times in six weeks before google came through, so they chased google out of town, because google makes burglars, evidently. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

Deansgate is on street view. Clicky here
Are you grabbing the orange man in the corner so that the mapped streets go blue?0 -
Just out of interest, if you have the image of your house removed, what appears when you put the address in?"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

I think it just comes up with a black image and some text that says "This image has been removed"
Edit: Just found an example online0
