what would you think makes your house stand out with those 3 things?
on streetview my car and alarm box are on there, what difference does it make
they are on show to everyone.
the whole point of the alarm is to let people know you have one?
i dont think having my driveway and garden on show is a risk0 -
If it helps, my street hasn't been street-mapped. Every other road in the village has but google has missed us out. I wish they had done it, but they haven't, so obviously you should move to my street if gsv bothers you so much.0

Oh for goodness sake - just back off all you pathetic people who have nothing better to do than pick someones comments to pieces.
She is entitled to feel the way she does and wanted to warn others. If you like your house being on Google, then fine, you don't need to ask them to remove it but she was just letting people know.

So what difference does it make now that your house is not on there?
Is someone not going to break in now? Are your insurance premiums going to go down?
I sleep soundly at night knowing that my house is safe and secure. People do walk past my house, and as much as I wish that I lived away from all other human life form (especially the paranoid ones), I have now accepted that reality really is not that bad.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I am going to take something positive from the thread. I now know how all these sad people work. They work like hyenas and track down a victim to attack and then spam th thread with as many useless and abusive posts as possible, meanwhile thanking each other every single time they write something. hence how they end up appearing like long standing nice members who have posted lots of helpful tips.
The reality being that they are sad, spiteful cyber obsessed freaks who can't hack reality.
Well I say, Martin must be soooo proud of the calibre of people he attracts to this forum0 -

..and conducting a poll, and having a go, and choosing not to answer fairly legitimate questions relating to the thread they started...all fine by me...but I defend my right to comment!0 -
Maybe i'm not using it right but every place I look for isn't on street view. Even places like Deansgate in Manchester.
