My home is secure, I just thought I was doing something nice by letting people whose homes weren't previously on there may be on there now.

If people felt that alone warranted jokes about paed ophiles, crass comments about my parenting and pi"" taking about a nutter breaking into a house then I have nothing further to say

Maybe you need a break from the computer? You are getting very worked up about this.
    Gone ... or have I?

You know its people like you who spoil things for others. To try and be rude just because your irritated by my post is just as unhealthy. You didn't need to read the thread. The crazed maniac broke into four homes. The home after us he sexually assaulted a young girl and the home before us he stole young girls under wear.

I'm intrigued to know how you would define this person

Your smart talk and below the belt comments are just evidence of your complete inability to communicate your point.

Like I said I live with someone who has dealt with burglars for 15 years and I hope you won't be offended if I consider his professional opinion more than your spiteful comments.

Furthermore I doubt the newspaper articles were just written about me, but the opinions of many many others who live their privacy

Calm down dear it's only a forum!

15 years of experience with burglars and a burglar still managed to get into your home! I do hope your home is more secure now than it was.

I was not being rude, I was giving my opinion, just as you are. There was nothing in your post that irritated me. Yet again you are overreacting.

I really would seek professional help for your paranoia. It is not healthy.

You know regardless of your little medals or your high post count, your nothing short of a bully. Just because I came on here and expressed an opinion different from your own. I posted about an internet site and you start attacking my mental health, I wonder what benefit your comments have other than to cause someone discomfort

How have you managed to get from 'Google street' to a sicko/nutter breaking into your home? Can you show they are linked or are you being a little bit silly?

I personally love Street View, I find it a good little time-waster. I have no security issues about it because, as already said, if someone is going to do something they'll do it regardless of a picture on the internet. I'd be interested in knowing whether burglary and related crime as in any way increased as a result of GSV, whether criminals are actually using it. It's the same as with !!!!!philes, do they not have better ways of finding pictures of children rather than trawling GSV in the hope of finding one?

Ah right, so are you going to now check that anywhere in the world you are going to stay at isn't on Google then?

Stop having a go at people who disagree with your view..we are allowed to do so!

Because I felt I had to defend one of the reasons as to why I did not want my home on there.. I realise now that I don't have to justify my personal opinions!!

You suggested yourself that you were maybe paranoid...why get upset when people agree with you?

Most child abuse is carried out by known friends/family members. What should you/we all do? I'm still not 100% clear of your reasons as to why you don't want your house on Google.
