Hi Danny and not to worry.
I have a few against Lloyds and were sent exactly fob offs like you, same as most others here.
if you received your final response then hun then yes now complain to the FOS, if they stated that, this does not get them out of mis selling hun, so complain to the FOS, photocopy all correspondence you have from LLoyds.;)
Do you want me to post you the link for the FOS hun (complaints form) ?
Just came back in from editing, Danny here is the link for the FOS anyway. Form on that link.

Thanks very much Di, you're really helpful!
I am not sure what constitutes a final response? They said in their letter they do not agree with my complaint and if I have further evidence then let them know before October. I was going to write a letter stating that this is not satisfactory and give them another 14 days to resolve it favourable or I will seek remedy from the Ombudsman.
Is this a final response? Should I send the letter giving them another 14 days, or just write straight to the Ombudsman? I want to avoid making any mistakes so I get the money I deserve back!

Good luck0 -
Just had a reply from the email I sent out last week about whether i needed to do a completely seperate complaint about the actual loan settlement with firstplus and they have replied as follows.Thank you for your email. I have attached a copy to our file.
Yours sincerely
I actually asked a question on this as to whether i need to forward this seperate??? I don't see an answer here
I then called them as you know this week and was told to send this information in as a seperate complaint to which i have done. God this is so frustrating. It was a question not an attachment i wanted.:mad:0 -
marshallka wrote: »Hi, you have to give the firm 8 weeks before you can take your complaint to the FOS. This being from when you sent your first letter and if they have not given you a final response by then then you can take it to FOS without one. The letter you have had is not a final response as they have given you the opportunity to write back. This is often a stalling method so now you have to do another letter and then give them whatever time is left between the first one and 8 weeks time. After this i am sure that it will have the words of final response in or maybe an offer.
Good luck
I have been away for summer and only just replying to their letter dated 11th August, so I will have to give them more time in that case. I'll just try and be patient!
Thank you for the info marshallka, keep up the good work!

Ok so i should probably attempt to reclaim myself...no point getting them to do it if I can?
I do have one issue though - my original mortgage was taken out with IGroup but (I assume) they were purchased by GE Money as that is who my mortgage is now with.....does this make them responsible now or do you think they'll fob me off?
eek help0 -

Was it just one of those standard responses hun ?Thank you for your email. Your comments have been noted and will be taken into consideration when your case is allocated to an adjudicator.Yours sincerelyBut looking at it now this is about my second email about this settlement thing so its not a reply to my email of this morning..
Its a reply about the one whereby i have asked for an amount of 20% of what the settlement was plus statutory interest. I then emailed again and told them to forget it so i would imagine that i will receive another one soon. That was what i thought was the unfair rebate.
I think these are standard emails sent to all.0
