For you caffeine lovers......I found interesting info on this website but for those who dont want to wade through it heres the summary

    CAFFEINE CONSUMPTION
The per capita consumption level of caffeine for adults is approximately 200 mg. daily, or a mean intake of 3 mg./kg. body weight for the average adult. Children consume significantly less caffeine than adults. The average daily intake of 5 to 18 year-old children is around 38 mg. This is equivalent to 1 mg./kg., which is substantially less than what the average adult consumes. For children and young adults, the primary sources of caffeine are tea and soft drinks, while caffeine intake for adults 25 and older is mostly derived from coffee. (1)

I'm also loving the new upbeat TTC thread; it's great!

I made rocky road last night and took it into work...but only after scoffing some myself to make sure it was ok...and it was!

I only take folic acid...I don't really drink that much and stick to defaff coffee and coke. My BMI is in the healthy range but I think I could do with losing about 7lbs. I could also exercise a lot more...

Smartie; do keep us updated; I'd love to see MM. We're off to a comedy night tomorrow but I don't think it will be in the same league somehow.

Confuzzled; I'm getting far too excited for my own good. Fingers crossed for testing day; I'm rooting for you all the way.

  • Hi all, having a mental day here, have had a weird ocular migraine then got a call from best mate's OH in floods of tears as she's gone into labour but is only 32 weeks. So have been to the hospital to see if there's anything they need us to do. Poor lamb is in bits, she's apparently holding it together quite well.

Anywho, for the people who asked about baby aspirin/agnus castus/B6:

baby aspirin (low dose, i.e. under 81mg) is supposed to help the uterine lining by helping with the blood flow to the ovaries and uterus.
Agnus castus is believed to have some effect on the pituitary gland, and thus help to regulate hormones.
B6 is also a hormone-regulator and is used most commonly to lengthen the luteal phase when you have a luteal phase defect (i.e. less than 10 days)

    xx
