FIRST DIRECT "internet banking plus" account aggregation software

Options
This is a really helpful FREE piece of software from First direct (produced by the same company "eWise" that produces Egg Money Manager).

A major plus is that you don't have to be a FD customer to use the service.

It securely allows you to see the balances of all your accounts (for lots of different banks and building societies) in just one place.

My only complaints are that it doesn't seem to allow you to alphabetically sort the companies and that Birmingham Midshires and Kaupthing Edge are not yet on the list of available organisations. (I have requested them to be added).

Otherwise a great piece of FREE software that really saves time checking your accounts.

Have used it for over 3 years now direct with them, no problems and very easy to use, lets you see everything in one place including things like ebay and hotmail.

Yes, but it doesn't work on a Mac which is a real pain. Works okay on a PC.

FD have no plans to extend support/compatibility for Apple Macs. Typical.

Are your accounts displayed in a random order (rather than by Nick Name) ?

I can't even get IB+ - it doesn't download onto a Mac so it's not even an issue regarding the ordering of accounts, unfortunately.

    Inactive,

No they are done by alaphabet and you have the option of using a remote device like a usb pendrive to store your encrypted data on.

If you and your partner/wife also have the same accounts eg sky card then you can both have them on there just names sky card(2).

Its an excellent, once you just input all your details then away you go, it even updates when companies change there log in procedure, ING springs to mind on that one last year.

John - are your accounts really in order ? Wow. Mine (approx 15 of them) are all over the place ? It makes no sense and is real pain ! I've tried re-adding them and there is no logic to it.
